Do Y/you feel it would be useful to have an option in the 'I am seeking' checklist to indicate that Y/you are/are not open to professional services?  Perhaps it would cut out some of the bitterness or misunderstanding on the site?!

For example...

Actively Seeking:

Dominant Women
Dominant Men
Dominant Trans
Femdom Couples
Professional Services*
Friends Only

* Not currently an option, this list is for illustrative purposes only!

I think aside from the search categories, no one really pays any attention to those things anyway. The majority of Pros search by interested in Dominant Women anyway.

Perhaps if there was such an option, those open to professional services would be able to clearly indicate such.  Those who specifically do not wish to pay tribute could then justifiably whine when less ethical/careful pros, or con artists, SPAM them regardless?

It sounds like what you want is an easy way to produce a list of potential clients to cold call.  Is that about right?

Seems like it would open CM up to pandering charges.

I am very careful not to approach anybody who I don't think would have an interest in My services.  A simple search for 'submissive male' (and often 'Dominant male', to My surprise  ) would produce a lengthy list of clients to cold call, if that was all  was after.

Perhaps an alternative statement could be 'Non-Professional Services Only', that way the point could be made and CM couldn't be held to be acting as a client-pro intermediary.

Of course this would only work for those who bother to read that list, but at least it gives the approachee a bit of moral highground on which to plonk their soapbox, and something to direct the approacher to.

I think there should be "Professional Service will be banned" option in the TOS.

If anyone wants to abuse the system to peddle their wares, they should be forced to join a pay site and not leach off the good will of others, such as the owners of CM

I am not opposed to it being added...why not?
It would clear things up for the many that do not bother to read profiles and journals.

There's quite a difference between calling someone "non-professional services" and lifestyle.  After all, the vast majority of lifestyle dommes are quite offended when we're spoken to as if we're basically here to service the horny masses for no pay.

It's interesting how everyone gets their boxers in a twist about labeling the pros, but CM doesn't even have an option to list what someone's marital status is, something I would think would be mandatory if folks are using it as a personals site.

This is a free site.  I don't think CM would want to be put into the position of  "pimping for the pros"

How then, is it different from the section in the forums where Professionals can advertise their services?
