mnottertail -> RE: What's for Dinner Tonight? (2/11/2007 3:41:12 PM)

I have a vision of maimed turkeys running around vegas, playing slots, trying to save up enough to get prosthetic legs........

The vegetables did not move me; however.

The Jolly Green Giant---Ho Ho Ho.

I have a vision of a headless, wingless turkey trying to play slots...it's a sad image that brings a tear to my eye....then I giggle a little

Spinach pasta with vodka sauce that has garlic and onions in it. And maybe a glass of wine. That'd be nice...

[sm=biggrin.gif]OMG, that made me laugh so hard, I had a coughing attack... thanks a lot...

Probably shouldn't admit this, but, what the heck, my life seems to be an open book here... did anyone else have nightmares about The Jolly Green Giant as a child?

mnottertail -> RE: What's for Dinner Tonight? (2/11/2007 4:13:20 PM)

Oh, for shame Syn---
nobody wants to know that.

You're weird... jk jk jk, for me it was that stupid cat in the hat. That cat was out of control and leading those kids into danger! I still haven't seen the movie version.. and I probably won't.

Ready for this Hillbilly Gourmet. I wanted Tomato Soup and Toasted Cheese sandwiches. I use my Hickory Farms gift pack I got at Christmas. I sliced the smoked cheddar cheese and put sliced summer sausage in between 2 pieces of bread and toasted that with sweet and hot mustard on it. It was very tasty after my cold 2 mile hike this evening.

quietkitten -> RE: What's for Dinner Tonight? (2/11/2007 4:23:41 PM)

hot1 -> RE: What's for Dinner Tonight? (2/11/2007 4:32:48 PM)

aaww... c'mon quietkitten, I stood silent at your irrational protest for the protecton of butter [;)]

Actually, I used to have nightmares of the Jolly Green Giant coming down from the hills and squashing my house... Ok, so what if I grew up 10 miles outside of Boston?

Oh, and I decided I should make my dinner sound more appealing... it was herb-roasted Turkey Legs with European Vegetables (a mixture of brocollini, peppers and pea pods kinda thing) with some Herbes de Provence sprinkled on top.

cjenny -> RE: What's for Dinner Tonight? (2/11/2007 4:41:40 PM)

mnottertail -> RE: What's for Dinner Tonight? (2/11/2007 4:42:30 PM)

Don't hurt me because of this you guys, I feel.,...

Edjamakate the masses HydroMaster *evil smile*. I don't eat them lol.
I did an oops and accidently put the Jolly Green One in the subbies running amuck thread. Will KK be strong and hold JGO off? Or will the Jolly Green One trample KK?
I wish I had some chickie nuggets right now.

MistressDiane -> RE: What's for Dinner Tonight? (2/11/2007 4:46:38 PM)

chicken noodle soup, lots of club crackers crunched up in it.
