Welcome to the wonderful world of taking a man! You are in for a real treat. Some advice:

* Make sure you have a harness that is comfortable! Make sure you like the way it feels and like the way it looks on you. Wear it for a period of time to get used to how it feels and looks.

* Use a LOT of lubricant, especially if your man is also new to this.  Don't expect easy, instant penetration - it will take some time and adjustment before you get into the "swing" of it and find an easy, comfortable pace.

Even though I've only done it a couple times [and yes, it incredibly erotic!] make *sure* not to use too big a size. It makes a difference in his stretching capacity and if he is used to be used thus.
Akasha- I have a double sided dildo, how does One use it- or are there ones made for harness?

They also make an anal lube with a desensitizer in it.  Helps with the newbies.  You should be able to get it at your local sex shop.

But you shouldn't, especially if you're just starting out with assplay.  Diane's comment aside, pain during anal sex is a warning that something bad might be happening.  You don't want to use a lube that can mask those signs.

Just start with a very small strapon, lots of lube and take it very, very slow. All my subs really like
a lube called Slippery Stuff Gel.

Take it slow. When I was preparing for popping my anal cherry, the dommes started with a simple prostate massage. That was fantastic and if the domme knows how to do it well, will get the man excited for better things to come. You can also buy a graduated butt plug trainer set to start stretching the anus. The key thing is that the man must learn how to relax as he is penetrated. So you just go from smaller butt plugs to larger ones.

You can also use vegetables covered in condoms with lubricants if you don't have the funds for butt plugs. Skinny carrots to start, working up to cucumbers. Cheap but effective.

In my rarely humble opinion, learning to be one with your strap on really is key to your comfort--and pleasure for both of you.  Taking the time to figure out the best settings and fit for you really matters and will allow you to really be in control -- of your "cock" and your partner....
