What amuses me, dcnovice, is how virulently the nitwits (who live in Dumbfuckistan) that elected Monkeyboy to be emperor object to the idea that Hillary Clinton could be elected.

It is almost like they honestly believe that she could do a worse job than the Simian In Chief and his rabble have done.

Boggles the imagination.

I thought this should be brought back up, especially when what I have been saying about him is coming to light. He is a hypocrite!

She's changes her stances way too often. You compare what she said just a few years ago on certain issues to what she is saying now and it is the complete opposite. It is quite obvious she is moving her stance based on what the voters want to here. This was a losing strategy for John Kerry as the GOP totally ripped him apart what was called, "flip-flopping."

There is also a lot of dislike for Hillary in the national popularity polls. Something like 46% have an unfavorable opinion of her. She's got the socialist label taped on her back and she needs to figure out how to get it off without making the left-wing angry.
There is also rising tentions building between her campaign and Obama's. And if this escalates, it may just make voters dislike the two so much that someone like John Edwards could end up ahead by the time the primaries roll around. Keep in mind also that the Democrats have changed their primaries slightly, so this could be an impact.

On the GOP side, no one seems to be jumping out ahead. Giuliani and McCain are neck and neck. And Romney is pretty far behind. But in my opinion, none of those 3 will get the nomination. It is more likely to be either Gingrich or one of the dark horses.

Democrats may not want to run on the idea of stopping the Iraq war. Since it seems there is not even any consensus in the Democratic party to even limit the war. In fact, a few Senators said they will defect to the GOP if the Dems vote to limit funds.
So it looks like the left-wing was the biggest loser of 2006 and will be again in 2008.

I'm a Democrat that worked for Ron Paul.

We probably won't have a wide choice in the next election. There seems to be quite a few good candidates, but most will have similar platforms. I've already decided to take a stand ... I'm going to vote for the candidate that runs the most tasteful, issue based campaign. I have no problem with attacking someone's policies, but the moment it gets personal, or slips into the unproven, I'm off that train forever.

Caitlyn, that's funny, I just donated $100 to Ron Paul's campaign yesterday.
I like his positions and he's obviously intelligent as he's a physician.
Anyone who wants to get us out of the "U.N." will get my vote.

Anybody would be better than King George the liar and oil monger. He will be the fall of free society as we know it.

Bart Simpson would do a better job governing then the bozo up there now.
Seems Gore wasnt so funny as the spin machine tried to make him.
Remember the 'lock box'?
What was so rediculous about leaving social security alone?
Now they are claiming it is going broke.   Well duhhhhhh.   How much has
been robbed out of it to pay for this illegal, immoral war?
I would be proud to have Al Gore take his rightful place in the whitehouse.

"Do as I say, not as I do." - Rev. Al Gore

The Reverend Al Gore reminds me of Jim and Tammy Faye Baker... because it really looks like he's only in it for the money.
