There is one good one thats not taken (not me, by the way - even I'm not that arrogant!)

He lives in Illinois, and thats as much as I'm saying, just in case I decide to have him kidnapped, crated and shipped.

All right, I'm changing it to "Why are all the good ones either taken or very far away from me???"

Where did they get taken to? Is there some sort of parade or speshul event that I don't know about?

Maybe they are all just waiting in the shadows.

Actually it is a very open OP.. good in what? Good as what? Good for what?

Edited to add, that my ex husband makes a damn good doorstop and he is very very available. Free even. Gift wrapped.

I'm sure someone will be along shortly with a 5000 word essay defining what a "good one" actually is, and 13 definitions of what "taken" actually means.

*winks* Its true, I did leave it very open. People could have taken it to mean "Why are all the good seats on the bus taken?"
