Well, I'm going to the BBB (Birmingham Bizarre Bazaar) on Sunday. First time! Yes, I know its the closest one to me, but maybe I like driving!?

Is anyone else going? (Since we've had so many threads on meeting up!)

Its meant to be the best one in the country; any opinions?

E

gugger! Meant to post this elsewhere! Mods? Off topic maybe, please?

Damn Lady Ellen, I went to the last one.
Not somewhere i'd go every month but good for a look around.

Thats a shame! I was planned to go to the last one too, but something came up with the UMs at the last moment!

Was the fashion show any good?

Second best maybe *g* LAM (London Alternative Market - 1st Sunday of the Month in Clapham) holds pride of place IMO.

I've seen better fashion shows but it was ok. There was one delectable young man dressed just in a harness with an ass to die for - that was yummy
On the top floor there is a baby wear stall and all the adult babies gather there, some of them look so cute, its worth a look.
Some fantastic corsets and floggers and stuff if you have unlimited funds, i found them a bit on the pricey side.
Enjoy

Siouxie! Check out SWAMP (South West Alternative Market & Party) on Google!

Its a similar event thats held in Bristol, near the university and not too far from the railway station. It was the first one I went to, and there was lots on sale and going on. Really nice people too.

I must remind myself, that it is rude to laugh at adult babies.

I wanted to see that fashion show - a few people I know were modelling apparently.

Oh Bum will miss it again. I will be so busy being dragged round a car spare parts day at Stoneleigh instead. So close but too far. Hm I wonder if I could arrange for him to drop me off at the BBB instead.

Not in the UK anymore, but when I lived in London, I did head up to the BBB fairly regularly.  I think for me, it was a toss up, as I liked it about the same as I liked the LFF (London Fetish Fair), but for different reasons.

In my opinion, the BBB had better demo's and workshops lined up, but I preferred the LFF because it generally had a better selection and the afterparty was always a hoot.

Admitedly, the LFF was influenced by the fact that I knew nearly everyone in attendance, and it was right around the corner from where I lived.

When I was there in January, I went out to the new LFF locatikon, and have to say that while the venue itself is visually great, and the selection for purchase was still good, the time spend travelling out to Clapham juntion detracted somewhat from the experience. The tube does not go there.
