I knew this already[:D]

You know, I love it when my Daddy is sweaty after work, I love showering him....MMMMMMMMMM

Ok, nothing to see here, I need to see him soon (damn its hard sometimes!)

These researchers need to come and spend some time queueing up in the off licence (liquor store) round the corner from me. That would swiftly change their ideas about all this!

But then again I guess they're talking about fresh sweat. At my local store, they keep air freshener behind the counter.

I used to have a girlfriend who would cuddle up with one of my dirty tee shirts when I wasn't around. No wonder she was horny all the itme!

Sorry but I can't stand the smell of sweat male or female. Its just well..yucky. It doesn't arouse me in anyway, in fact it moves me to point him into the direction of the shower.

Interesting article and from the answers here and from a lifetime of this topic coming up that it depends on the woman.

For me I cannot say it is just sweat per say. All I know if a guy sweats from just sitting or climbing the stairs for example does nothing for me, but a man sweats from doing something manly makes me instantaneously wet.

I think they've known this for some time.
Not having read the above article from what I do know about this subject it's the transference of pheronomes from the male to the female through smell that does this.
From some articles that I've read in years past about this a man's smell is actually good for a woman's overall health as well.
It causes a glow on the skin, lower blood pressure, lower heart rate, and a better more fuller head of hair, and a more regular cycle.
Those studies were done with women who lived alone and with women who lived with a man.
Toserve, and what kind of "manly" things would those be?

Human sweat has pheramones (spelling on that). I think this is why some of us like the sweat of certain people. I do not like the sweat of just anyone.

Let’s see, Killing spiders, buying jewelry… wait a minute wrong list.

More like during sporting/exercise activities, manual labor and number one by far and selfish reason, working up a sweat by doing things to me. :)

I can understanding loving someone's 'scent', because if you have good feelings for them, their scent would trigger that association.
But sweat???  No way.  Sweat needs to be washed off with soap and water.

I was actually watching something on the Discovery Channel about the sexes.  Apparently during the Roman era when the Gladiators were celebrated like the rock stars of today and had a huge following with their female groupies.  These athletes would mix their sweat with olive oil to sell to the wealthy women.  Can you imagine if there was an Italian Calvin Klein selling this kind of perfume?

I'll see that... and raise you a bar of soap.

I'll take fresh and clean for the win, Alex.

Sweat is natural. it has natural properties only the body can produce.

as westerners- we are taught that sweat is bad.    well 95% of the toilet waters out reak to me.

in todays world- we have access to a bath every day. it wasnt so long ago- a bath was once a week.--starting with the father- then mother- then oldest child- the baby was last. hence the saying "dont throw out the baby w bath water" [same water used on whole family]

i HATE being sweaty and unshaven= but thats me.

if a guy just came from 10 hours on construction job, run him thru the shower first. i find it makes deeper head possible.  ;-0~
