LOL!  Yeah, I know I and a good number of larger-busted I've spoken to have gotten entirley too much of their "(silently) let's seeeee, we only go up to a DD cup, so.... (aloud) Miss, it looks like you're a ___DD!"

Phhhhbbbbbb.  :D

Do they get paid by commission or something? It really doesn't make sense.

FelinePersuasion -> RE: Too Much Breast? (2/17/2007 12:50:52 PM)

I do  not any more, but I used to, and I have now noticed when I use an old bra, well ok it's brand new only worn like 2 times an then I got others that is almost to tight, and the cups  are at an angel and not like the bra's I wear now I get that awful " 4 boob thing" Where a cresent shape half boob is seen atop the bra through my shirts. I hate that it's so ugly.

and I don't have that 4 boob problem.. (i.e., the extra poking out the top)... Guess I got lucky.

cjenny -> RE: Too Much Breast? (2/17/2007 12:53:56 PM)

Yes they do work on commission actually.

Not that I'm aware of, they used to be owned by The Limited, as well as Express and Lane Bryant, not sure anymore now though. But, when I worked at Express and Lane Bryant, we didn't get commission, but rather it reflected on your sales numbers, and therefore your job performance.

They usually don't have my size in the store, or at least limited colors since I wear the largest bra size they would ever carry in the store. So, I buy mine from the catalogue/internet because they have a larger selection of sizes/colors/styles there.

Evil commission stores...

sambamanslilgirl -> RE: Too Much Breast? (2/17/2007 1:22:29 PM)

Lane Bryant (if i order online) or The Avenue stores also have good bras which fit well with my DDs  however sometimes it's hard finding a 50+ DD bra if there's a sale. will check out Imtimacy as well. thanks for the recommending it.

Ugh, I'm dealing with the quadriboob thing right now.  My bust went up again this past month and I need to order some new bras...  it sucks so much.  So ugly. :[

Vendaval -> RE: Too Much Breast? (2/17/2007 3:39:34 PM)

Some of my larger busted friends have walked into the local
Victoria's Secret downtown here and been told, "We do not
have anything that will fit you!"

cjenny -> RE: Too Much Breast? (2/17/2007 4:20:31 PM)

That is one of the reasons they don't get any of my money, the condenscending attitude of the staff there. I'm not fat anymore in fact I'm a size 8 for most clothing but not for a bra, I've been told the same thing by them. IMO bad customer service!

I feel your pain... beleive me, I've had it in the past before I found the one I'm wearing now.

I saw a picture once and thought, how come I didn't notice and how come nobody every told me! Geesh... well, my friends were probably afraid to tell me...

Again, thank you for all the information, I was glad to read it... one day, they will discontinue that bra I like and I'll be in search again.. it always happens to me... lol

The condescending attitude is pretty rampant in retail, especially when you're tall and a size 18 (my smallest size ever in my adult life-- since I was a 10yo--  was a 14)... and have a large bust...

I've learned my measurements, and shop online with much success simply because I can't stand the bad customer service anymore (I worked in retail for a long time before)

edited to say: Not to flame anyone in retail, it's just a general trend I find shopping lately IMHO.

I wish they would tell me that. Instead they try to cram me into a DD or try to sell me thongs.

mnottertail -> RE: Too Much Breast? (2/17/2007 5:42:11 PM)

This goes to show that women dress ultimately for other women, men are usually appreciative of boobage that is looking to hop the fence.  Hence the pirateing and medievil wenching bodice......

FukinTroll -> RE: Too Much Breast? (2/17/2007 5:43:28 PM)

I always thought that air was the best clothing. I could be wrong though.

AquaticSub -> RE: Too Much Breast? (2/17/2007 5:44:29 PM)

If I could get away with wearing a wench's outfit every day, I probably would. I had the prettist leather corset that I used to wear... then my breasts swelled up a few more cup sizes and I couldn't wear it anymore. *sniffle*

mnottertail -> RE: Too Much Breast? (2/17/2007 5:49:15 PM)

If you ain't gonna get a chance to tear some clothing off them once in a while, how would a lazy and unrepentant dom such as myself get any exercise?  And since I own the curtains I ain't wiping the shit off on 'em just to hear them bitches scream twice......

RumpusParable -> RE: Too Much Breast? (2/17/2007 6:24:30 PM)

"w00t" and all that, I ordered new bras... Was being lazy about it and this thread got my butt in gear and I did it.  Yay, I have packages coming :D

Vendaval -> RE: Too Much Breast? (2/17/2007 7:06:09 PM)

Fast reply to no one in particular -

I started a thread over in the Bondage Gear and Apparel section
to avoid a complete thread hijack.  lol

What are your choices for best bra, bustier, corset, bodice or basque?

For the most comfortable, lasting bras for those of us who are ....uh...well above 8 pounds (never measured tits in terms of weight before, I feel like it's Thanksgiving dinner), Lane Bryant's Cacique line is awesome:

Goddess brand was the best brand I ever wore that came in sizes up to G and h cup  also although those pretty bars with the peek a boo underwire thingies they really arent terrible supportive
