Not many people come over to the newbie area, LOL. *rolls eyes at self* So I don't know why I feel the need to post and say "Hello!"

Hi everybody!

I've been in my own little world and didn't know that it's normal and okay to be a sub. In the past, I chose to be with omega type guys because I was scared of dominant men. Hangup from childhood, LOL. So I've never been in a Dom/sub relationship before.

So I'm here, feeling how deep the water is and seeing if I'll drown or swim. All these painful things that y'all talk about freak me out a bit. I'm 40, and I think I might be too old for this, LOL! I'm having fun though, when I'm not being scared stupid, so thank you.

Hi cynthiamarie - welcome to Collarme!

Nah, 40 most certainly is not too old. Lots of folks start later than that - heck I am 45 and am just a novice. Hey, the message boards here are a terrific way to learn stuff. This might be the most active and highest quality set of forums on the web. And if you post with any kind of regularity (don't be afraid to ask questions) you are almost certain to make friends.

I am glad you joined us.

Hi Cynthiamarie and welcome to the forums at CM!

Here on the forums we love to discuss all aspects of life and the lifestyle! It is also a great place to learn about the lifestyle, so read, read, read if you are new and participate in the discussions. I am also glad to say a lot of us have become friends as well, it is a great place to meet like minded folks!

We love this place. I started when i was 37 in real life and my words of advice are go slow and pick someone you trust to start out with, it can be scarey and you may have what are called the newbie frensies meaning i want it NOW sort of emotions but please take your time and be safe first and formost, then have fun! its great!

So jump on in, the water is fine!
