What a shame that would be....possibly a fee charged to participate on the boards, with endless pop-up reminders to upgrade your membership from standard to gold.

I like the mom and pop burger stand down the street over McDonalds any day.

I sincerely doubt that collarme is going to be "snapped up" by anyone. As far as I know, the admins work very hard to keep this place free, and aren't likely to sell out.

personally i have called friend finder's corp offices.. whom have not confirmed that CM was bought. i have also emailed the PR contact for friend finder.. and am currently awaiting a reply from them.
outside of that.. i do wish to say this.. the panic and unwillingness of people to absorb what information dazzle me.

Actually, someone I know called Customer Support and confirmed Bondage is bought.  I also went to the #Help room and spoke to a few of the Ops/IRC there and they confirmed it as well. If you look on their main page now, the AFF logo is there. Its confirmed. I was only asking about CollarMe as I love this place and would hate to see AFF put more people over a barrel and ass rape us to be able to chat.

Im not panicked in the slightest. The room I frequent here already has a back up plan should this server not be available anymore. Rooms from Bondage are starting to do the same, should AFF change and close the IRC client or make chat a pay only situation .

I came to CM because it is free, havent been on Bondage except to see if mail is there.  In my opinion this is a better site, better selection of people.  I will put up with the adverts here as opposed to being pressed to upgrade with everything I try to do.  PLEASE stay free CM.  This site is 200 times better than Bondage.

I haven't been to bondage in over 6 months, we got stalkers so we pretty much left, but there are several people on this site that know all about that. I honestly can't see this place closing, too much of a good thing for all concerned, and i wouldn't bother trying to get into trysori's site she is GONE. You all harrassed her while her dad died, and she just left. be well TJ. Oh and take that to your cronies be well and be off with you.

I haven't heard this.

I'm confident that CM is large enough to know how to research all that internet shit that points to me, and can deem who I may have been at one time in the past.  If not, MizSuz can help you in your research.

I would very much not like to see this resource dissappear.

If this is more than rumor...I'd like to have a discussion.

Yeah, call the Sultan, he can buy the whole friggin internet<G>   I wish i had the time to think up such an elaborate backup chatroom plan....i'd do something constructive with it like ah... call the Sultan!  As Mod  XI said, nobody has bought Collarme.... i couldnt give a flying fucklez who else is buying what, where, when, why or how!
