Bush is allowing 7000 Iraquis to immigrate to the USA.
Why stop with only 7000? Why not bring 10,000? or 20,000?
I am sure more are coming.

Status: offline 		At 1st glance I was alarmed.  after some thought- it could have some benefits. assumming they are thoroughly screened.

will they follow proper procedure or will they come in via Mexico ??

We slaughtered how many?   100k.   is arab blood worth less then other blood?

No doubt a token effort of whatever sort needs to happen. maybe this way - maybe not.  But we need oil-

violence begets violence. no one has the answeres. at least we are hearing new ideas instead of  "trust me"

Having said this= i presume these immigrnats will learn English and assimilate?

 The ones that can't get in that way....well.
Many people never mention that they have caught people from all over the world crossing through Mexico.
I don't know why people think only those from South America come through Mexico.

They certainly come from all over the world and then come into the USA from Mexico.

I don't need to post 50 links.
But I think you get the main idea, of course most are highly trained professionals.
I guess we need 10,000 more highly trained professionals in the USA.

Status: offline 		sounds like the very least he could do (and i do mean the very least) after murdering 100,000, most of those being women, children and elderly men, and permanently injuring untold thousands more, not to mention destroying their homes, places of business and religious temples....all for what? not a damn thing. sometimes i feel i'm going to suffocate from the shame of being an american.

Status: offline 		 In an article about Sigifredo Gonzalez  (Washington Post) the "Texas Sheriff"  He claims that there are only a doazen or so officers to cover  of miles of open U.S./Mexican border......I think immigration should come through legal means....I know this is a little bit off the thread (slight hijack)....But if terrorists are such a real threat and our border with Mexico is not protected...Why are we not seeing attacks on a daily basis....instead of ?????

How many companies announced just today of their intent to lay off more workers?
But hey... all the lovely new jobs being created by this administration.   Lower wages, no benefits,
no retirement, no healthcare.  
Bend over people.     Here it comes !!!!

Shame. Yes. On the one hand Im proud to be an American. But this is not the America I know. It is a takeover by the 1%- using religion as a tool.

I just seen on KTLA, bank of america is now issues credit cards to illegals.

The feds are concerned such trend will finance the next attack. If country ABC did not hate us b4, they do now.  Based on our bush.

As I recall- banks did well during  ww2 concentration camps- as did some US companies.

I flunked history in HS.  Funny how much of it DID sink in.  Those who ignore history are doomed to repeat it.

The US answere?   MALLs Credit cards. dont worry. shop. charge it.

Pahunk, "a sovereign country?" Well, I guess Saddam (did) get 100% of the "vote" didn't he?
Are Dictatorships "sovereign countries?"

OK, let's all look at this BIG picture here.
We're "freeing" Iraq so that those people can live there, correct?
If that's so could someone then tell me why we're bringing Iraqis to the U.S.???

Oh my gosh. There are too few jobs for Americans as it is due to outsourcing. The last thing we need is more immigrants. What is the eventual goal, to keep bringing in immigrants until every American worker becomes unemployed because immigrants work cheaper?
