i love a good debate....which is why i enjoy this board so much! i love being able to read everyone's opinions and ideas, i enjoy being able to argue something i believe in with someone and sometimes become enlightened by their take on the topic, or not...the point is, i am getting the impression here that people are becoming very *touchy* and the moderators seem to be banning people and or censoring left and right...~crosses her fingers hoping she isn't next!!~

Why be so afraid of a little confrontation? Why get so easily offended about what some stranger thinks? How boring would it be if we all had to be so extremely cautious not to offend anyone else..... i like to say what i feel, what i am thinking about, what my beliefs are, and if someone takes offense to that then it's their problem....not mine...this is, after all, an adult site.

One thing we all have in common is a passion for this lifestyle, doesn't matter how you define it, or don't define it, doesn't matter if you're a dom domme sub slave master mistress lord king mighty mouse, point is we live this aspect of our lives as we feel like, and for that i have tremendous respect and admiration for all here, no matter if i agree or disagree with them on any given subject.

i just think we should all lighten up a bit and not get all bent out of shape and "offended" when someone speaks their mind.

**hops off her soap box now**

Oooh, I like that one! I think I'll appropriate it for myself. Lord King Mighty Mouse reigns supreme (at least in my own mind). "Here I come to save the daaaaay!" Oh yeah, that has a ring to it!

This is something that has bothered me for a while. I think it's funny to read someone posting something condiming someone else, then when I go to read their profile they themselves are into things most people would shy away from. I think it's safe to say that this is a place were the people are into a whole manner of'unusual' things. How can you expect anyone to accept you if you so easily find issues with what other people do? That being said there have been many things on here that I myself don't care for, but I just move along. As long as everyone is happy and everyone is consenting, what consern is it of mine? I do feel we should cut the moderators a little slack, it can't be a easy job and surely it's hard to draw the line between a debate and a flame war. I know I have friends who get surpirsed when I tell them I don't want to argue anymore. Argue? Who's argueing? They were just discussing. Certainly we walk a thin rope here considering that many of the topics talked about here are often illegal in many places.

you weren't specific about who you were directing your post to but since i'm the op i'll take a guess it was directed towards me. Yes, i do have a long extensive very kinky list of things i am into...but, i do not expect everyone to agree with me, i do not expect everyone to think that my way is the right way, what i do expect is the same oppurtunity of expressing my own points of view as everyone else does. I do not condemn anyone, i am not God to pass judgment on all nor do i pretend i am a saint....i just call 'em like i see 'em...it is my right to do so, and i will continue to do so. If something i say has offended you that was not my intention, i do not come here to attack anyone personally only to express myself, read and most times learn from others here. If i say that cheating is wrong, which i imagine thats what your post was refering to, i am not saying that to "condemn" those who cheat, who am i to condemn anyone? geez, i'm just giving my opinion here, as you are.

Hear Hear Ruff. Excellent post!!! You said that very well. Point well made.

And hopefully taken? After all your recent posts about what people are and are not, what they should and should not be...

Are you now agreeing that it "doesn't matter how you define it" or "Burger King" as Babygirl stated?

Edited: Due to name confusion...this is why I don't like couple's names. :)

thanks sweet!

Yes, i said doesn't matter how you define the lifestyle, when i was speaking of how we all have this much in common, and i respect anyone who lives out their dreams/fantasies etc.....how does that relate to cheating which is what really this is all about since this may be another thread but emarldslave, as far as i am concerned, was relating to that other thread.

Obviously that other thread has stirred up many emotions on this forum, people have taken much offense to it, or many have i should say....i don't understand why all the fuss to be honest with you, if you believe it is right to cheat go ahead (i mean you in general) if you believe it is wrong than don't do it...but don't jump on anyone's throat for their belief, riotgirl was just speaking her mind as we all do on this forum...she wasn't accusing anyone of cheating, if the shoe fits than you can either wear or not but no reason to get all offended by it.

Honestly I wasn't refering to anyone, I certainly didn't indend for it to be a direct attack on ruff. Mostly I ment to agree, I myself don't understand exactly why some people get so pissy about some things and go on and one to condim other people, when they themselves do stuff that would often be considered wrong by other people.
I'm certainly not the most... PC of people so generaly I call it as I see it. I like a debate.. as long as it doesn't boil down to yeah! well you are just wrong!
I posted in the view of agreeing with you more or less terribly sorry if I did it in a way that was unclear. I certainly didn't mean it as an attack on you ruff.
Well, I guess I wasn't agreeing about the moderators, but again I didn't mean that as an attack.
