How many magazines do you find in praise of the 1800s looking woman??? Most women are encouraged to look like young boys; curves which while very natural/normal to the normal female, are bad. We are forced to rely on having normal parents who teach us to love the body God/genetics lands us in. M

M Surely as an adult Ms BTFF your attitudes develop from your upbringing and your experiences with other adults. Some I know will try to "help" you by putting you down, but just bite back, in a restrained way, "help" them with what you perceive as their weaknesses. Dont rely on fashion magazines !

the whole "fat/voluptuous/curvy/meaty/built" debate made me take a look around me...I"m surrounded by MEATY people and dammit I'm lovin it! None of my boys are skinny. They are all 'cornfed'/athletic/thick boys. None of the women I'm with say "no I'll just have the salad." They say "bring me that steak." Most of us are/were athletes and have lil extra "meat" on us. I feel more beautiful when I'm thicker than I do when i'm a size 10.

going to post one of my favorite quotes to this post as I think some will get a laugh from it and others will understand it LOL We all get heavier as we get older because there is a lot more information in our heads. So I am not fat, I’m just really intelligent and my head couldn’t hold any more so it started filling up the rest of me.
