It just puts a bounce in my step.  What a gene pool to choose from.
That is the best part of online dating sites, isn't it???!!!

You are joking, right?  You want an internet dating site to guarantee you a match?  Wouldn't you rather find someone using your own judgement?

I was computer matched with an expensive career as a computer expert.

I tried to be an anal-retentive computer engineer seeking a stepford mother for my unmentionables, but it turns out the site was a scam and my career got offshored to Mumbai. 

I wake up every morning and give thanks for that.  My life as a morpheme expressing, orange jumpsuit with shiny stuff wearing, grease covered, heavy equipment driving (yesterday I drove a forklift that could lift 80 tons, instead of the 16-36 ton ones I normally drive.  One word "YEEEFREAKINGHAW!") is simply sweet.

Status: offline 		Yep. I went to one of those "paid " sites... the response I got was that everyone who was a suitable dating partner was unfortunatelyt currently incarcerated....Bummer!

If I can make a serious response to the op...I get a number of responses some from the forums but a number from locals.. Maybe they  read the forums?  I don't provide a pic...I don't send out many inquiries....Have met a few... some cool some dog fuckers...Maybe it has something to do with your approach?....More bees with honey...More fat subs with food! ...Did you mention in your profile that you work at Old Country Buffet?....Sure fire way to get a shit load of responses!!!!!

Online dating sites are no more or less of a scam than the more traditional dating agencies, or newspaper personals. it is a way to find people with at least similar interests, and its up to you and nature to take it from there. Any site or agency that charges $ has a vested interest in you not finding who/what you seek, so I am dubious of their motives, but then again I am a cynical old fart.
