Update

We have just started training so we can do home haemodialysis. Master already cannulates Himself so it really is just a matter of learning to use the different machine.

I already know how to set up the machines at our hospital, and these machines are basically the same but they seem much simpler to use. Master hasn't set up a machine at all yet - the nurses said it wasn't worth Him learning one machine only to have to learn another further down the track. So He will be going to practice tomorrow (no dialysis tho) while I go to the gym

It will mean early starts 3 days a week (the centre is at least half an hour's drive away and traffic can be diabolical in Sydney!). He was dialysed today and He was able to tolerate higher blood flow and the needles seemed much easier to insert.....no pain in His arm at all during the procedure and He seems to have tolerated it much better than usual - long may it last

This will last about a month/6 weeks depending on how fast we learn - they tend to take their time to make sure we know what we are doing before they let us loose at home. We will need to get temporary plumbing put in, clean out the spare room for storage of medical supplies and hopefully we will be happily dialysing at home by the end of August

We now have the machine all set up and have had two sessions at home so far. Apart from a few teething problems the first time, all is going well. Master is comfortable in His own bed and His pain is much reduced. We hope to dialyse every 2nd day for 5 hours at a time. When we get more confident I will be able to go out and leave Him for a couple of hours to go to the gym or do a bit of shopping

Hello well for our house we currently care for two disabled persons of which both are my slaves. I myself am semi disabled with diabetes and other ailments related form military service. I find many subs and doms for that matter tend to shy away from potential partners de ti medical related issues.Caring for thoseone cares about i perhaps more grueling then fighting combat on many levels. There s no reinforcements nor is there anybody there to give a hand when you are having a bad day yourself. My hat is off to anyone who takes on the burden of caring for those who are sick.
