Greetings to all, and respects. I have recently become a slave to a very understanding, caring, and beautiful Mistress, and this is my absolute first Mistress/Slave relationship ever. Mistress Dez has suggested I refer to this board for helpful information & suggestions regarding my new station. I have seen some information relating to this on other sites, started to assume that was the way it always was, and then was told by my Mistress that the information there was only true to a select few and should not be taken as gospel. Basically, anyone from whatever station willing to share experiences and some advice would be appreciated. In short, I am here to learn.

Respectfully,
DoreiKoneko
Property of Mistress Dez.

Everything.

Click on the "search" link near the top of the page, type in a term or idea you're curious over and see what you get.

What LA said (as usual) with the edition of: join in comment and ask questions of your own. Do go and search the idea first, though. Some get rehashed ad nauseum (like what's the difference between a slave and a submissive). We'd love it if you didn't ask that one...or if you didn't rant about money/pro dommes...or about how sucky some peop are online...or about what it means to be a "true" or "real" whatever.

Very true. Of course, the fact that have not BEEN collared yet, as i have not EARNED the privilege, may be relevant in some ways. What MAKES me a SLAVE ( as opposed to a sub) is primarily two things:

1) My own choice

2) My Mistress chose me.

Hope this helps clear things up...

PS - I hope you find other, better equipped places to shop than Petco!

Being at a BESS event hardly makes one reputable :)

I thought he meant that towarrds Koneko.  Ha!

Quite amusing, doll. What would you know about being a sub?

1. Collar has not been given to him because he's not ready to wear one. Since when were you the Sovereign of All That's BDSM?
2. Pet Store? Maybe that's where you have to go, but I do not. I happen to look for things a bit classier and a bit more dignified then a collar you'd put on the family dog. That was quite a disrespectful comment.
3. You're easy? Were you sleeping with him recently? Have you slept with him at any time? Do you personally know anyone who slept with him?
I'm guessing the answer to all those was;
NO.

Oh, and Princess - he's slave, not sub.

I have given him plenty of advice, and seeing as he IS new to this, I advised him to come to the message boards here and find adequate information that would thirst his desire to learn more to please me. What's so bad about that?

I thank LuckyAlbatross for being polite.

Yeah but that doesn't mean you have to react to it.  My "collar" is a pink peep bunny backpack clip from Target.  Is that somehow less classy or dignified?

It's a symbol, it is what we make of it.

Not that I eschew a Tiffany's collar at all, just that I think the pet store can be the perfect place for collar and leash supplies.

Lol, you got me there! Yet you are well known, and an Easy Button does not mean you are easy.

How are the boys bears?

I got a Harley bear for Xmas too.

You're right, it IS a symbol, it IS what you make of it. Trust me, my live in is wearing a temporary collar which happens to be a choker chain (until I can get him the chain mail one that we picked out). It means the same...even if it's yarn. (I had to teach that one to my live-in when he got upset with me one time and didn't want to wear it anymore. I told him that what he wore meant the same as the engagement ring he gave me).

The reason I did react that way to that comment...is because of the way his post sounded.
It was all together a disrespectful comment.
In NO way was I directing any of that towards you.

The way I interpreted his comment...was as such:
Sounded like an accusation. Like I only chose him because he was "easy" and am treating him like a "dog". I'm sure you can understand why I'd lash out.

I'd recommend you search on the key word books.
There have been many discussions of web sites and books to read here in the collarme forums.
My favirote book is Different Loving.

A good start for beginners is Castle Realm.... castlerealm.com.
It is very flowery and it definitely romantisizes the lifestyle. But there are a lot of good basics to start from there.
