Thanks, all. Also, I'd also like to direct an apology to Lady Albatross. After thought, I know it doesn't matter where the collar came from. It is, as you say, a symbol. My reaction was prompted by the tone and context of blondwolf's comments to me. Part of that sprung from the implication that I'd buy my own collar. That rather defeats the purpose. But that's neither here nor there. I spoke less than thoughtfully, and Lady Albatross, plus any others I might have offended.. (with one exception) you have my apologies. Respectfully, DK

If a master wants you to buy a collar to symbolize her service to you, then that's what you do and that's what it does. But no worries, it was more troublesome to see how easily you could be baited and respond in kind. I hope you can continue to find worthwhile information and discussion here.
