Every night before I sleep
I pop online and steal a peek
At all the wisdom so profound
At clashing opinions so renown
I take it all in and ponder the best
I toss away pretty much the rest
All in all I’m hooked beyond reason
It gets me through a very tough season
Y’all should know you help me see
A life that I hope to some day lead
Albeit not now, but at some future date
I’ll find my way and seal my fate
So thank you from the bottom of me
For allowing me to learn and see
The reality behind a yearning so new
The life that awaits once I get a clue
