the will explicitly leaves out anything for anyone other than the son. "I have intentionally omitted to provide for my spouse and other heirs, including future spouses and children and other descendants now living and those hereafter born or adopted,"

What is cheap and are you able to relocate now?

PoisonRoses -> RE: twist in anna nicole smiths will (2/18/2007 11:22:23 AM)

sad... seems like even though the will was left stating that, since Daniel is desceased and has no spouse or children,  the new baby girl should inherit everything.
Wouldnt it be quit a twist now for someone to come forward stating that Daniel is the father of their child?  Could his body be exhumed and DNA testing done on it?

The bank says I can afford $375 a month- must include tax and ins.

Cheap is  5k to 40k.

There are a lot of places around here you could afford.  Perhaps even home ownership.  Nothing that has been flooded out either.

It means no such thing, those children of 'tender years' will surely be appointed a guardian---

Now, there might be all kinda rules, but the court will have realistically minimal oversight, and so long as the kid don't bitch----

the guardians 24 bisexual and wholly depraved slaves are necessary to insure the future and present welfare of the child-----

Vendaval -> RE: twist in anna nicole smiths will (2/18/2007 2:43:03 PM)

Damn, this situation just keeps getting worse! Now there are potentially
5 men that could be the father of her baby.

WTF?!!

It has however once they figure out no money comes with the baby..they will quickly back away.
I doubt Stern even ever had sex with her.  He appears to be one of the only men in the country who didn't.
Anyone else notice he looks as high as Anna did?  Hope he cleans up a little for court on Tuesday.

Lest we forget my parrot!!!!!    I shall think naught!   Knucklehead climaxed thereby triggering the sperm, only via his scream could the fertilization actually, technically, logistically and legally occur.

Hence-wherefore-thou-est,  the parrot is always sent into the mine. If the parrot lives the miners are safe to enter. The parrot lived, hence the [goldminers] are now enterring! vis-a-vie- the courts.  Case closed.

See?

You should write fantacy. Thats quite an idea to come up with. No, his body would not be exhumed for DNA tests.

Paternity does not equal inherritance under the law.

Think of it this way...
Say you get into a one-night stand with a famous celeb and she gets pregnant and has a baby. She then dies several months later. Her only kin is her newborn child. Since you were never married to her, you have no right to her money. Your only connection is that you are the father of her only surviving kin. Which means the child gets the inherritance, not the kid's father. No one can touch that money until the child reaches the age of maturity, which is age 18.

Marriage however would have changed everything. Because legally you cannot write your spouse out of the will. Had Anna Nicole married someone, that person would be the executor of her assets whether he was the child's father or not.

The kid could almost go after child support. In this state unpaid child support- they can and do slam yo azz in jail if you dont pay.

tulipgoose -> RE: twist in anna nicole smiths will (2/19/2007 7:25:05 AM)

Even though her will states that she intentionally ommitted future anyone that isn't the key point anymore, unless the judge deems so. I believe they are saying now that the will was not filed in a court thus is no more valid than if I were to write on a peice of paper right now stating my final wishes, sign it and pass away. Tis someone else's power to say what will happen. The judge will decide if Anna's "will" is of any use... which is seems not to be as her son has passed on. Her daughter will almost definetly have power over the money and it will probably kept in a trust for her, or held by someone in her "interest"
