I've seen first hand how martial arts training (which is a sport) can positively change someone's life. As a teacher and a student of the art, I feel able to say - you don't have a fucking clue. Sports are about teamwork, dedication, and having fun. Someone who says those values are worthless isn't someone I consider worth being around.
