     It's been a while, but I can finally post regularly again. I might even have something of value to contribute now.   Initially I joined this site to use it as a guide to learn about B&D (I'm not particularly interested in S&M beyond spanking and hairpulling). Now I'm back to meet some new people and maybe learn a few new tricks...
    Some of the things I'd to learn more about are hojojitsu, knife/needle and fire-play.
    I wouldn't call myself "experienced" or "lyfestyle." I'm just a little kinky. I've been incorporating bondage (primarily rope) into my sexlife for about two years now. And some form of restraint or resistance since, well, ever.
    Outside of the bedroom my primary interests are music, religion and philosphy. So I may be in the off topic forums a lot.

This book is written in Japanese, but profusely illustrated (and the japanese is more poetical than instructive) but this is a seminal work on Hojojutsu, it is also very reasonably priced, can't find it cheaper anywhere--- and remember it is Nippon so you read it backwards.

Thank you for the suggestion mnottertail. It is greatly appreciated. I just have to ask one question to clarify: Is the book about Hojojutsu or Shibari? I only ask because the product description isn't specific. Right now I'm primarily interested in Hojojutsu. But I will probably buy the book either way.

And thank you for the spelling correction as well. I'm not sure how long I've been spelling it "Hojojitsu."

It is common to misspell it jitsu (it is a result of the days before standardization of interpreting the kanjiis) Since you are looking at a martial book, it is hojojutsu, shibari is actually an offshoot...

Just like Aiki Jutsu is the art of aiki and Aikido is the sport of Aiki-- one has lethal ramifications and the other ostensibly not.
