Only if the behavior seems to be causing puzzlement. I usually don't explain my behavior unless someone seems confused by it, and that should work for just about anyone.

Seriously, you'll seem weird to SQO (Some Quantity Of) people, no matter what you do. Seeming weird is good - it keeps you from fading into the wallpaper.
