I was going to put this in ask a submissive/slave, but wasn't sure if it would be appropriate.  So here we are.

I love to take baths and showers, and sometimes, I like to make my own cosmetics and I'm very much into aromatherapy. I also enjoy bathing my Papi (Master) and cleaning him in the shower as well... ok, maybe TMI.... sorry... lol.

I was just about to get into the bathtub and was thinking if any of you kind folks here have any sort of bathing rituals you do on yourself or your partners?

Do you have recipes for candles or oils or soaps, etc that you particularly fancy?

He's been away for 2 months, and should be back in a little over a week, and I'm thinking of ideas that I could do special for him from me. So any other ideas are also welcome.  That is when we actually come up for air once we see each other again long enough to actually bathe *weg*

Ok, so, he will more than likely read this post too, so, I'm not going to probably comment on what I choose  but, I also just love getting new ideas and thought it would be fun to share.

Thanks!

Also, any other ideas from baking/cooking to just about anything to be a special thing from me would be fantastic.

I could do some research on the internet, but, I have found that most CM posters are very creative and I enjoy reading your thoughts and ideas.

Firstly i'd go for some Icelandic GeoThermal salts for their healing properties you can mix this together with dendritic salts to maintain any fragrance, and some fragrance oil of your choice.

Add approx 10 drops of Fragrance oil to the dendric salts and mix in a bowl
Add the Fragrance & dendrics to the bowl that contains the Thermal salts and mix
For moiturizing add a tablespoon of high quality  COLD PRESSED vegetable oil (not what you get in grocery stores) or avacado or jojoba oil.

Do not add to much Fragrance oil because too much can cause irritation, this together with some candles, a bowl of fruit (for you both) and some soft instrumental music will make for a LONG and wonderful bath time, make sure you heighten eachothers pleasures before you give in to lust, if you like i can show you how to summon a mild demon or spirit of lust to tempt you in your game of bath time?

Great Topic!!!!

each zone on your feet go to a function/sensation.  oilive oil- massage her feet.  Pay mind as this task is the most urgent event on the planet.

Also. with a feather or very light touch.  have her lay on her back.   very lightly feather touch her facial muscles-- releasing all the anguish.

When Jesus was a guest- his feet were washed in olive oil.  If you want to you can add a touch of esential oil to the olive oil. i find the opiate oil to be soothing. i did not care for the canabus oil.  smelled like weeds.   lavendar is a good pick ---mainstream easy to buy.

Bath For Emotional Balance
1/2 c Dried orange peel *OR* 1/2 Whole fresh orange; sliced 3 tb Dried jasmine flowers 2 tb Dried sandalwood chips
When everything seems just a bit too overwhelming, a bath can be extremely good medicine. This season, you might appreciate herbal remedies for feelings like nervousness, tension, anxiety or emotional fatigue. Try whole herbs like chamomile, jasmine, juniper, lavender, orange, rose, rosemary or sandalwood.
For a bath that'll restore your sense of balance, make an infusion of the listed herbs; sit back and enjoy

What does he like to eat?  Here's my double chocolate cashew drunken cookie recipe....say that ten times fast
2 1/4 cups flour                     1 cup brown suger(packed)
1/2 cup baking cocoa            3/4/ cup granulated sugar
1 tsp baking soda                   1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp salt                             1 tablespoon rum(yes demon rum)
1 cup butter(slightly warmed)  2 eggs
2 cups chocolate chips            1/2 cup cashews(crushed)

preheat oven at 375 F     Combine: flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt.  In another container: Beat butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, vanilla, and rum until creamy.  Beat eggs into mixture until kinda fluffy.  Gradually add in flour mixture.  Stir in chocolate chips and cashews.  Drop rounded balls of dough onto ungreased baking sheets.  Bake for about 8-10 minutes.  I usually go on the low side because I like doughy cookies.

One thing I learned: dried lavender buds floating in the bath look like floating bugs in candlelight. Ew. And, they stick to you when you get out. Double Ew.

For ritual cleansing, these are some things I've noticed for myself: depending on if I'm trying to take on or get rid of energy, I wash from toe to head (take on) or head to toe (get rid of). If I'm getting rid of, stay in the bath until the water drains; the sensation really lends to feeling like the bad energy is going down the drain.if I'm taking on, I sit in the tub as it fills and it really feels like I'm being filled as I begin to float more. As you clean each section of the body (chakra sections) chanting "I (or you) are cleansed in the name of (higher power)". I like to use "love" as my higher power.

If you believe in color therapy, you can buy color baths such as these seen here: http://www.heavenlyideas.com/color-therapy/bath-products.html (don't use food coloring! It will stain skin as well as your tub!)

oooh... nice ideas...

Thank you for the link MasterFireMaam! and for the recipes/ideas everyone! Yummy baked goods Hydro! Wonder if I can make that with Splenda? LOL

I do beleive in color therapy -- When I was going through a really rough personal period (brother sick/dying, as well as other personal stress things), I used to get color therapy facials about every 6 weeks... helped me tremendously.

When I do baths with things like dried lavender or orange peel, etc, I tend to use an old (but clean) knee high... put everything in there, tie it up and put it in the bath --  it keeps from getting the water looking "eeewww" and then it doesn't stick to your skin either...

More ideas to add to my own... looking forward to more

I keep meaning to start making my own mixes.
In the meantime, I really like the line of bath salts, soaps
and candles that Rite Aid carries.  They have honey, milk,
and brown sugar; which have attracted ants on occasion!

No problem, I'm a wealth of cooking infomation if you need anything else.  It's my secret weapon.  Actually they make a spenda brown sugar so you can substitute it and the granulated.

A little closer than the dryer:  You can get a plug-in freestanding towel rack that will warm your towels.

Bath menus are getting very popular in luxury hotels now - some even have in-house "bath butlers" that come and set up the bath that you order.  If you do a little research on the web, you can find what places like the Ritz Carlton are offering, and copy liberally.

A basket of travel-size coordinating bath gel, body lotion, bath salts are great as a starter....add a beverage, a bit of chocolate, a couple candles, and you're all set.

Great ideas about the towels, unfortunately, I don't necessarily have the option of either... dryer is 3 stories down and I don't have room in the tiny bathroom for a heated towel rack, they are both lovely ideas though... maybe will put them on top of the HVAC unit and crank the heat instead

oooppss... did I say that outloud, hope he doesn't read this... lol

blu, you are really a silver-tongued devil... I think it's getting hot in here and I don't have the heat on... lol... will next week ever get here?

Thanks again Hydro and all! Any recipes you want to share, keep 'em coming... I love new recipes and ideas for all kinds of things...

Will check out RiteAid... I think drugstore.com carries their products too?
