To solving "SUDOKU".

There freaking isn't one.  Just like so many other crazes, its a freakin conspiracy to drive people mad.  I've so far solved one friggin puzzle in all my attempts.  So far after the fifth grid I'm usually stuck.  Yes, I'm stuck right now.   GRRRRRRRRR!

So I decided to search the net for the big secret to cracking the code; and dammit, the darn diagrams were a maze more confusing than the darn puzzle.  I think someone was getting their jollies off that wrote that problem solving solution.  I admit I don't have the brain function I once had back before my brain mishap, but the people that put these puzzzles together are just so not nice.

OK back to trying to finish sudoku puzzle #4 of 126.  Yep bought a whole dame book of these things.  whom what's on TV.

I didn't see anything about the puzzle or the guy, or were you saying you know a guy?  There's always one of those types of guys or gals in the bunch.  But whomever the guy is, those are the kind of people that should be burned at the stake so the rest of us can feel more adequate..    of course I'm kidding, sorta, really I'm kidding.

There actually is a particular approach to solving Sudoku, and a particular mental ability required to be good at them.

I have tried a few of them and, like Rubiks cubes, they bore the bejeezus out of me.

Just me, etc.

I'm going to hate myself for asking, but what's your best time.  Do you have a strategy that works well?

Sudoka is just like Rubiks cube. Once it comes to you, it is a slap in the head by yourself and realizing how silly it is.

Use the numbers. If you use basic logic, it becomes simple. 9 numbers in 9 squares, best way to look at it.

I usually don't time myself, since i do them for fun.

And i really have no set way to doing them.  All it really is, is logic, and once you get the hang of it, they become disgustingly easy.

For the record, after my TV program went off, I finished the puzzle.  Already in middle of the next.     One completed, 125 to go.  They supposedly range in degrees of difficulty, so we shall see how long they retain my attention span over the coming weeks, months, possibly year.

I usually do these puzzles while, um, in the bathroom.  I dont know what posessed me to buy a whole darn book of these puzzles.  Oh I remember, it was a dollar at the dollar store.
