How important is the presence and observance of protical regarding your servitude in your relationship and where did you find the means of an example to chart your territory with?

Almost none at all.  Whatever protocol and mannerisms I adopt are based on the vanilla contexts- and most people never learned those to begin with, including Ds people.

Status: offline 		Firstly, service is not big in our relationship instead our primary focus is on emotional transparency.

Secondly we have five teens between us doing various sports, after school activities, homework, social life etc. There is zero room for protocols or rituals as the kids' needs come first. The quickest way to destroy any blended family is to cause children to resent the step-parent. And we're in this for the long term.

Status: offline 		I am all for rituals that give pleasure to my Master and/or help me with my mindset and service towards him. I am not a fan of a large quantity of rituals as then the meaning and pleasure from them can get lost but I certainly consider them very important toward my service and the relationship.

Rituals that I have found particularly beneficial to me are morning rituals when waking up first thing and rituals when seeing each other after work. I find these are very helpful in order for both me and my Master to help set the proper atmosphere.

As far as specifics, you can search the web for lists of that nature. Most rituals have a common ground in those but made personal by the two using them in their own way.
