This list was generated in an attempt to understand the mysterious phenomena of Doms/subs that go *poof* while chatting online.  Of course, I'm coming from the sub perspective; but both perspectives are welcome.
  • Asked to read profile
  • Significant Other walked into the room
  • Parents asked him/her to take out the trash
  • A figment of my imagination--I was really chatting with myself
  • Puppy was chewing on computer cables under desk
  • PC blew up in a puff of smoke (see previous reason)
  • Went to use the commode real quick and fell in
  • Spontaneous combustion
  • A massive coronary or stroke
  • Symptom of A.D.D. / Alzheimer's
  • A terminal case of Trollitis

The following is an absolutely true story.

One day, some years ago, I was engaging in cyber sex. All of a sudden, from the corner of my eye, I saw a small movement. It was my daughter's pet gerbil, who had escaped from his cage. Knowing I had to grab him quickly, or he'd be scurrying through the house under furniture indefinitely, chewing on things and creeping me out, I made a dive for him, and for the next 10 minutes had a regular little gerbil rodeo, chasing him over and under everything until I caught him and got him back in the cage.

When I returned, I had numerous queries from my cyber partner asking, where was I? I apologized, saying, "Sorry for the interruption, the gerbil got away." He disappeared, and I never heard from him again. *sighs*

Omg. That was you?

Sorry about that. My flea circus got loose.
