The choice between leather, canvas, and latex is up to the individual('s bank account).

Status: offline 		I love using my black canvas straightjacket with my boy.  I had considered buying a leather one, but the cost and opinions from others that it got very hot wearing one (temperature-wise) made me reconsider. Status: offline 		If you have the dough and like sticky, go with a leather one with either heavy PVC or rubber lining.

Status: offline 		We have both a canvas and a PVC lined leather, and although I love the look of the leather one, it gets extremely hot in there, due to the PVC lining. Whatever You decide, make sure you get the vital measurements of the jacket, as the fit really can vary from different manufacturers, and as usual, their sizing techniques leave something to be desired.

Status: offline 		myself and my sub both love our leather one , the quality you buy though makes a big difference , a Mistress a know bought one for a lot cheaper than mine and boy can you tell , yes you do get very hot in them but that is often a bonus , a bit like sarang wrap , the warmer you get the tighter it feels

Status: offline 		I have a leather jacket from Extreme Restraints and love it.  I have owned and used canvas ones as well, and they are fun too.  But....  the leather is soooo nice and warm and comfy. And yes, they can get warm- always be sure you have water or a sports drink on hand.

I gave the canvas one to a friend after buying the leather.

Status: offline 		i have a PVC straightjacket from autumn's sub shop and let me tell you it's the SEXIEST thing i own. i went to a fetish event wearing it one time and EVERYONE that saw it commented on it saying they loved it. It's great for the show off factor as well as the "oh my god it's so hot PLEASE take it off" factor. i only wish i had more opportunities to wear it out in public.
