This has happened to me once before. Dang... I should have known better. As pahunkboy said, I should've typed it elsewhere, then copied and pasted it.

It happened to me earlier, it's happened in the past, I'll likely happen in the future. Usually, on long post, I just hightlight and click copy, before posting, but sometimes I forget to dothat and the info just gets wiped away along with the thought. [:)]

subfever, if you are making a really long post the chances are good that you are gonna time out. What we do is go to Preview, highlight it and copy. Then, if it fails to post all you have to do is open another window and paste. *Jewel* *PS, the only way to copy it in the original window is to hit control c.*

Simple copy and paste any long important posts before sending it.

Compose in a text editor then paste it to the reply window. Never lose a class rant again. Works great for emails too. Added bonus - Spell Checking!! - Yayyyyy! MS Word paragraph formatting commands are sometimes not recognized by the CM reply window - so paste into a simple, no frills text editor first (e.g. notepad), then copy that version into the reply window. Stay tuned for advice on removing stubborn stains from fabrics… Z. EDITED to add: &%#$!&^ing aced by the previous two posts! &^#ers!!
