Tried the Karo syrup. Let her lay with her family for 30 minutes, picked her up and her head went slack, lolling. She wasnt breathing. Gave her cpr it worked. Sat there giving her bits of cpr and rubbing her little chest, compressing it. i tried i really did. She seemd to be able to every 5 or so seconds take a deep breathe on her own.
Then she just stopped breathing and i couldnt convince her to breathe again No amount of rubbing or blowing helped.
poor little thing. She did struggle so hard. i can only think she had to have been miserable and the last few moments of her life were not the best for her [:(] She fought so hard.
The vet i that i got on the phone while she seemed to be breathing okay mentioned distemper, fading kitten syndrome, and pnuemonia. When i was breathing into her, it felt like i was hitting a block of some sorts.
poor little kitten. i feel so bad for her
