in regards to my first post on this board on 22 Feb. i ask why do some so called "dominants or masters" flame someone they don't even know, and don't even have a profile on this site?? are they even members? what is going on? carlaa

When you say flame do you mean in private memos to you? Otherwise I am sorry I do not see much flaming going on in the original thread that you started. What flaming are you talking about?

Well, how nice for you that you have a profile...I'm sure that means your opinions must count for more than the opinions of others on here. Oh, and before you go looking, I don't have any sort of real profile either...I'm not here to meet others and see no need of more than I have.. I could care less what someone's profile says - unless it's in direct opposition to what they're saying they believe - or unless I'm looking for more information on them - in which case, I'd just ask them. On the other hand, because I am in here for the forums, I care very much for what people have to say, how well they've thought out their posts and what all that says about them to me. For instance, it doesn't take a great deal of thought to figure out that if someone doesn't have a profile, chances are that person isn't looking for anyone and where they're from, whether they consider themselves monogamous, polyamorous, male, female, or the man in the moon doesn't matter either. On the other hand, sitting around being all side-ways judgmental over whether a person has a profile or not as justification for his or her ability and right to post says a LOT - and not all good - about the person who posed THAT question. Hope that answers your question. juliet edited to add that I felt drawn to explore just what it was that was so darn nefarious about the 2/22 post...and believe it or not...the only person who posted without a profile was someone who kind of chuckled over the focus on that vanilla ice cream cone icon...laughing about how "upsetting" one little vanilla ice cream cone seems to be to so many people. touchy touchy touchy....

They are trying to get your attention and get a reaction out of you. Once they know you'll react to something, they can keep feeding that and then, hopefully, turn it around into a deeper seduction to get you enthralled with them.

As I said previously, you will need to grow thicker skin if you are going to hang around the boards posting.

try reading the so called "tag line": "Never underestimate the stupidity of you fellow man." That is what 'innatedesire' included in his post in reply to me. Now that 'tag line' didn't just fall out of the sky. It was put there by 'inatedesires'. He didn't have to do that. This is just he/she/it trying flaming another member under the guise of a supposedly unrelated tag. This was included in he/she/it post he/she/it should own up to the fact that he/she/it flamed me i thought flamming was frowned upon on these boards. guess i was wrong

[Questioning look] You're getting upset because of a "tagline"? I'm guessing that's the same as a "signature file," a text attached to all outgoing messages. That isn't a flame. It's not even a warm flicker.

This is a free site and kinkoboard. Thus as always and anywhere online, we all can reinvent ourselves at will and with the benefit of anonymity. Many people online everywhere, will create a new 'profile' or 'sign on' just to contribute as somebody other than who we may know under an older profile. Yes, this speaks of some insecurity but even that is of little use. More importantly...it is no reason to leave a board or come questioning. This is our new life on the vast transom of the blogosphere. Going to have to toss them out of your mind and just go on and be yourself...inspite of this.
