It hardly rates as a top peeve but people who say they will relocate and then you find out the have a poly family already, or are collared and there is absolutely no chance they will relocate. In most cases I suspect they have forgotten they have checked it but it still takes up my time. Petty I know but still irritating.

One of the things that makes me laugh (not really irritating though) is when subs are not permitted to talk to any member of the opposite sex without approval of their Dom. It's like their Dom has an on-line insecurity problem.

My biggest pet peeve on this site is all of the subs out there who after sending me two whole messages want to talk to me on the phone or meet in person, and then when I tell them no, they insist that I am a complete fake.

Lets add people who like to project the reason for a comment or opinion that differes from theirs as a racial thing, or a gender thing, becasue it cant POSSIBLY be something about them.

(Not just you azzmaster, lots of people do it.)

People who get so pissy when you don't answer their unsolicited emails.
People who don't use common sense and can't think for themselves.
People who seem to think that because they are part of this "BDSM community" that those they run across will be more honorable and live to higher standards than those in a "vanilla community".

Being told that because I am a woman that I am supposed to be submissive to men even though I have a Dominant nature.
Along that same line of thinking, people saying that submissive males are all sissies who should "grow a set". They obviously wouldn't know a submissive male if they saw one. There are lots of sub males who are Dad, brother, uncle , grandpa , boss , husband they just don't display that side to everyone. Sub males are just as strong (in most cases) as any Dominant guy, he just chooses to be submissive to someone.

Another peeve is people who put up these horrific posts about how they've been (insert your choice) beaten, abused, used etc. only to get advice from other posters then the OP turns on them saying that people don't understand their lifestyle. Why bother to post if you don't want to hear what others have to say?

My biggest pet peeve....but not 100% sure if it is online or not..but stems in online.

I am pretty active in the local community, and encourage people to get out and involved. When my fave munch for new people is going to happen...I actually go and send a personal invite to anyone that is from here. If by chance I notice you are from my area, I always message and introduce myself etc.

What I cannot stand is the people that use bdsm as a reason to get laid...I mean..damm getting laid is easy....don't pretend you are into it for something else other than that. And if that is all you want...is to get laid...well then leave me alone. Now most of you know me and know that I love my sex...but I do not use bdsm as an excuse to get it...hell I could walk into any bar in town any night and pick someone up, take them home, fuck them and kick them out. Why pretend you like bdsm to get laid.

Well, since I've run into most of the stuff mentioned in the real time community as well as the online community ("real vs fake," "one true way," "conformity as a way of being individual," "making assumptions," "arrogance," "been there done that," "one uppers," "narrow minded idiots," and on and on) I don't count them as things that bother me about Online, but about the people in general.

The online stuff that drives me bonkers:

people who think that shortcutting words like you or are is ok. For heavens sake, you save two whole letters! Are they that lazy?? And don't give me the texting argument. This predates texting!
people who write in mixed capitals (LiKe tHiS)
people who have never met a spell checker
people who have no clue how to use punctuation
people who use lime, yellow or cyan for their text

HAH! Yes! I agree with this one, though it's only happened to me a couple of times.

Only once did I ever indulge someone in a yahoo cam session to prove I was 'real' (I don't know why I did it...), and it ended up with me being punished.

I also get irritated when you tell people you don't want to give them your messanger, or you do not have one, and they insist you get one so they can send some files or chat elsewhere. I've got my reasons why I don't do that, so sometimes that gets a bit on my nerves.

one i hear alot from women is about men who email them many times without a response and then keep emailing them with progressively rude emails, then start putting them down and saying how the woman isn't all that and she should be grateful 4 their attention. i mean whoa, guys, get a grip. i c that in life tho also, like at clubs u always see some bozo bothering some woman who is obviously not interested but he figures persistance will get him in there. so pathetic, makes me REAL glad i m not a women when i c or hear about that.

I know I am irritating to many people, and I am ok with that!

Edited to add, the behavior that I noted in my post that was about a specific person, well lets just say that I have been on the receiving end of sexual harassment in the real world and had men try to disempower me one too many times with cute coy insults, derrogatory sexual inuendo, and the like... and that sort of behavior in the opposite sex tends to make me see red.. but this is just a message board and I should not bring my real life baggage into it I suppose. So I apologize
