How many of you have gotten insane/nonsensical calls? I'm driving back from my lovely weekend away with my pride and joy (son), and a very angry lady with a private number rings my cell phone and asks sternly "who is this?" This hasn't happened to me in years, so I'm a little unaccustomed as to how to handle a crazy bitch call. I reply "who are you" and "where are you?" She answers, "that doesn't matter; your number is on my caller ID, so I asked you a question, answer me." I said I don't know who you are, so I didn't call you! I should have said "you psycho, if you tell me where you are, and your phone number I can perhaps confirm whether or not your man gave it to me and when." I don't date attached people generally; but if I were to date/play with one, his other wouldn't be calling me like that, because she'd know... In any even't, how does being an ignorant ass to a strange woman on the phone change your insecurity issues or a cheating man?? M

Well, the answer is that kind of behavior does not help anyone. I rarely get these types of calls on my land line but every few months this happens on my cell phone. Technology is not perfect, Caller ID numbers could be incorrect and inaccurate, or perhaps the jack-ass/bitch calling you forgot to include the area code. Just add it as another example of How-Not-To-Behave. I get foreign people who call me occasionally, and I have no idea who they are, and they don't speak English, either. I try to explain they have a wrong number, and if they just keep talking I just hang up. I don't mind that much, unless they come at 4a.m. or something - and they do happen at weird hours, sometimes. - Susan

That is even stranger than mine... I usually shut off the ringer when I go to sleep, because nothing annoys me more than trying to work on 2-3hours of sleep because I couldn't fall back to sleep. If I don't have work, I don't care too much. M

Ugh! That is definately one of my pet peeves. Lack of sleep can ruin your whole outlook for a day.

When I go to sleep I usually put my phone on vibrate and leave it in my pajamas pocket so that it doesn't ring so loud to hurt my eyes (my phone plays Slayer "angel of death" lol) then I can peek just in case it's an emergency or something...I hate those annoying wrong number calls..I actually chatted for awhile w/ a wrong number he was cool[sm=biggrin.gif]I so need a life!

I haven't recieved any phone calls like that in years. The last one I did recieve was from a woman who thought her husband was fucking anyone female. He worked for me and I had to have him work late a couple of nights to finish up a paint job. Well she called me and went off. I said look if your man is out fucking someone you should be going off on HIM not the woman you "think" he is fucking. Oh and by the way this is his BOSS as in I sign his paychecks, so next time you should find out who you are talking to before you go off. I have recieved the occasional crazy email though from various women who thought their man was cyber dating me, when all I was doing was playing online RPG games with them .I told them the same thing, talk to him if you think he's fucking around because I have nothing to do with that. ~Lashra

I had one of those.... I had just moved, so I had a new phone number. I started getting phone calls in the middle of the night. Some woman screaming about me fucking her husband and she was gonna come over and kick my ass. Only thing is that I didn't know either of them and I certainly wasn't having sex with anyone other than my Dom. Funny thing is, when I called the phone company to change my number, the woman says to me "Rather than change your number, we can just block that one number." Ummm....you don't think the crazy, psycho woman threatening to kick my ass won't call from a different phone? [8\|]

I was trying to contact my ex-brother-in-law, who I have known since I was a very small child, to ask for some help. He has always assisted me with things like auto & home repairs. I called his cell and left a message. His new wife called me and freaked out!!! He had cheated with her on his 2nd wife who is a really good friend of mine from before they married. (This one is wife #3). For some odd reason she suspects he'll cheat with anything female that breathes. Go figure!! I ended up hanging up on her and was left shaking my head. Guess what? He showed up 2 hours later on my doorstep, completed the repair, all the while apolgozing profusely for his psycho wife. I haven't spoken to him in a while. I wonder if this "marriage" lasted???

This reminded me of an incident a Looooooong time ago.....I was young and married at the time, and my then-husband was a manager at a fast food chain restaurant, i.e. lots of young female employees. One time I got a phone call while I was at home alone (with the baby), young female voice said "Is this Mrs. B?" I said, "Yes". She said, "Well, I'm pregnant and J's the father!" I said, "Oh really? That's wonderful! Just give me a call when it's born, and I'll adopt it, ok, honey?" She was dead quiet for a few seconds, and then said, "Uh....ok". And hung up. A few minutes later she called back and said, "I think I had a wrong number." Ya think?
