SimplyMichael -> Dungeon question (2/26/2007 9:08:08 AM)

I am getting ready to launch my BDSM furniture/toys website and I curious what piece of equipment is most needed but seems to always have the worst design?

Also, are there any pieces that should be made but aren't?

Any features you would love to see but don't?

What I am creating are pieces that are actual furniture, not stained cherry but made from real cherry.  Because I am a woodworker by trade, making well made furniture can be done for what many others charge for things that look like you made them with homedepot castoffs.

Thanks in advance,

Michael

FukinTroll -> RE: Dungeon question (2/26/2007 9:14:00 AM)

Michael, will you be carrying stuff other than furniture?

I can make cages, manacles and a host of other metal works. I can also make strait jackets. I have a straitjacket design that is really special. It is a slut jacket, boobs are out and as opposed to it being under the crotch it has tethers that strap to the thighs. It has buckles and straps that lock the elbows at the waist to keep the arms under the boobs instead of over them.

I also am working up that device I posted in the "Dream to some... a nightmare to others" thread. It was an interesting predicament bondage device.

Send me a link as soon as your site is up.

Troll,

I will be making some very cool and special wooden toys.  By trade, I make gunstocks and love working with the finest woods.  Until the site is up, I don't want to talk about the things I am going to make (so many people copy everything) but basically I am going to be making sets of toys out of the same piece of exhibition grade wood so they all match.

One of the things I will talk about since clearly almost nobody who "makes" stuff now could do this, are carrying cases for toys.  Instead of throwing your expensive toys into a cheap bag, imagine instead a beautiful fitted wooden carrying case.  One of the ones I am doing is a 4" round walnut (not pine dyed walnut, REAL walnut) tube that is lightweight and perfect for keeping canes and other long items.

I am working on perfecting a combination of two of my personal favorites.  I have a small little 2x4 briefcase that opens up into a picnic table and I keep my toys in a similar sized fitted wooden case.  I think I can combine the two so that instead of having to rummage around in a bag in the dark looking for your toys, you can have an "operating table" which you train your slave to set up and organize prior to play.  Show up as an unknown and lay that table out and everyone will be saying "who the hell is THAT!"

Spanking benches sort of a saw horse with places to put your knees are popular pieces of equipment in the dungeon here, and so are St Andrew's crosses.
I'd also recommend some sort of toy chest with hooks to hold things built into the back walls may be a good thing.
Good Luck,
suzanne

Sweet!

I recalled your vocation, which is why I am taking you most seriously.

How about something to hold toys and such that can be put into a closet. my Master has just started to get some furniture He ordered and there were no instructions. Although much is self explanatory it would be nice to have somesort of diagram enclosed. He has been on the phone daily to the builder to ensure He assembles things correctly. Add U/us to Your e-mail list as Master does plan to buy more pieces.

Always good to see someone with taste getting into the business. Keep us informed

Anything like this on the agenda?

Jesus Troll, you know how much work is involved in that?  Steel, leather, wood, drawers, oh my!  Or were you simply posting it as a concept piece?

Woodworkers make something like that for chisels and measuring/marking tools but it is vastly simplified and meant to be hung on the wall.  Some open up in the middle with a full with back "tool panel" and two doors that have tools mounted to the inside of them.

I was thinking of making some that are set up to take a dartboard on the outside so they can be made "invisible" and vanilla.

Michael, Just get a coffle of sluts with coordination.

MsKatHouston -> RE: Dungeon question (2/26/2007 1:47:28 PM)

Anything that is convertible and has the ability to break down or be hidden but is still sturdy would be useful to me.  I have limited permanent space and a family to where I can not have bondage furniture out all the time.  So, anything that can be stored in a closet or under a bed would be great.

FukinTroll, I know a lot of fem doms who would love something back on the market like the original KTB.  :) Some can still be found but they are expensive and much harder to find now.

SimplyMichael -> RE: Dungeon question (2/26/2007 2:02:47 PM)

Kat,

I am working on some items that can be hidden in plain site.  Another advantage of actually making them as furniture rather than 2x4 stuff.

Kali Teeth Bracelet

similar to this:  http://www.downonmyknees.com/archives/genitorment/make_your_own_teeth_of_ka.php

used as a chastity device for males.

That would be great to get some "hide in plain sight" furniture.  I have seen some things that interest me but they are really expensive or don't match my stuff.  I am not opposed to investing some money but some of the prices are a bit steep.

The contrast between the link to "kali teeth" and that sweet smile you have in your avatar is quite jarring.

SCDommie -> RE: Dungeon question (2/26/2007 3:56:38 PM)

I think you will do well with this endeavor.  I would think that the St Andrews Cross would be the most saught after item for a dungeon followed by spanking benches and cages.

Oh!  I am CHARMED.  Thank you, Ms. Kat.  Leave it to a nice lady from Houston to know about something this vicious (I'm originally from Dallas).

The boy just fainted and now I must go revive him.  I'm hopeful that I shall come up with an appropriate method; maybe I'll just toss him out in the snow.  :D

MasterFireMaam -> RE: Dungeon question (2/26/2007 4:58:14 PM)

Offer small and large crosses, one designed for the average woman, one for the average man. When you try to put a 6'2" man on a cross, his genitals end up against the cross most of the time...which makes them hard to get to. Also, make them with a footboard that wide enough for the feet to point forward. This is wider than will look good, to be honest, but, it's much more comfortable and stable for the person on the cross.

Good cages that can be broken down are hard to come buy.

PsyVamp -> RE: Dungeon question (2/26/2007 5:15:40 PM)

I like the idea of furniture that you can leave out because I don't have much space. (unless my basement doesn't flood, lol)
And cages are a definate plus!

Psy

SimplyMichael -> RE: Dungeon question (2/26/2007 5:43:14 PM)

I really appreciate all the ideas!

I am working on a couple of things along the lines of mission (also known as Arts & Crafts) style stuff that will blend in well.

As for cages, do you guys mean horizontal ones or verticle ones?
