I found some quotes during some of my research ...... this is one of them ..... I noticed some of yalls signature quotes...... I myself have not found one just yet ...... but still looking .... Ah, I kind of like that! Especially this part: I don't mind working, holding my ground intellectually, artistically; but as a woman, oh, God, as a woman I want to be dominated. I don't mind being told to stand on my own feet Call me a sucker for intellect :P

A woman quite before her own time, one of the first female authors of erotica and I agree, thought provoking in her study of DH Lawrence. Her Diaries are even more wonderful. My copy of Delta of Venus disappeared years ago and I'm still trying to replace it but I do have 4 of the 5 volumes of Cities of the Interior.

Thanks windchyme. It's one of my favorite quotes from childhood. Something I've always tried to live by as I've grown up and continue to do so.
