hello.... anyone here have any experience with or generally like medical play? it sounds really interesting...would love to know more details or opinions...In fact, I'm not sure what it entails really.... how's that for a novice question?

Something like asking what anal play entails :) Anything to do with a medical environment/attitude/equipment can be considered "medical play." It's not really something I am into, with the exception of a lot of my forced conception fantasies.

well, I didn't know if it was just based on fantasies of playing doctor (which sounds fun) or if there was more to it, and I was wondering if anyone who engaged in it could tell me more. just curiosity....

I love medical play. It ties together my professional interests (no, I'm not a doctor, but lets just say I play one on TV) and some of my kink interests. It is for me role playing, in a medical context, using medical equipment and -- when really fortunate, a medical suite in a dungeon. Some costumes required...OR greens for Me, or maybe suitpants, striped Brooks Brothers shirt, tie askew (Yah, see...I do know what Docs look like)...paper drape for you. Tools: Speculae. Chilled. Enema bags. Swabs. Sounds...and no, dear, not the "Sounds of Silence" either GRIN. TENs unit, violet wand, Jacob's Ladder (for the Miss Frankenstein scene, silly). Restraints. A tilt back Vag. exam table with height adjustment and examination "knock out" sub-pubicly... oooh...I'm getting excited...Doctor Doctor! Back now. Glad I saved some Risperdal from that last scene. Uh....where was I? Oh, some scenarios I like: Evil Doctor/Dom and Naive young patient; Evil Doctor/Dom and evil, troubled, seeking "relief" young patient; Serious, methodical scientist and wanton slut trying to make him break his concentration; Madam Curie and her radium-powered dildo (ok, I'm getting silly...still...); Sexually frustrated young woman trying to find her amazingly mislocated clitoris (seen the movie, got the g-string); Saucy, amoral drug rep and stern, law abiding physician; I could go on...and on... See, Novice. Just let your imagination go. "The Doctor will see you now, miss." GRIN E.

We have certainly engaged in things that would be considered medical play, suturing of the inner labia and saline injections into the nipples and labia being a couple of them. I guess at the time I did not see it as medical play as such (probably in too much pain to think at that point anyway) it was just something he had always wanted to do. I do know that he has been looking at some items on the net, a speculum being one, so I guess that there is more to come.

I've done neeedle play and liked it, but I don't know if I classify that as medical play specifically. I dream of enamas, speculums, being tied to a table and thoroughly examined, having catheters inserted, and lots of things an evil Doctor would do to a girl. Unfortunately I've not had the opportunity to experience these things and many many others I desperately want to try in two years of trying to make it so. Maybe I'll get lucky in my next life since it's not happening in this one. suzanne

Like anything in the lifestyle "medical play" can be soft or hard core. i would highly suggest you find someone with experience in your local group and discuss all the implications. For me, cutting, needles, scalps, knives, suturing, and stapling are a huge turn on. In order to be as safe as possible Master and i have attended many medical classes to learn how to properly do this and take care of the after care things. In some cities that i know of medical doctors will be glad to do your annual exam as a scene and they are very intensive - oh did i mention painful? There are many medical professional people in the scene that are more than willing to share their expertise. The important thing is understand the full ramifications of what you are doing and be willing to take the risk.
