I have seen many discussing pro dom or pro sub.I am new and curious how does one go pro?I understand that perhaps a pro dom would get servitude and perhaps some misstresses get money fetish sub/slaves but how does it work for a pro sub?
what would the enticement be for a sub to be a pro sub and wouldnt it be dangerous?

thanks for any input

Best way is to talk to a pro yourself and advertise.

What is the enticement for people to go into any profession that they do?

There is risk, yes.

Same premise as a dominant (male or female).  You provide a service which often includes a space and an expected range of experiences.  You charge for providing that service and the client pays the agreed upon rate.  The client expresses his desires.  The pro decides if they want to take the client on.  The negotiation takes place and the situation occurs.

As far as danger, it can be dangerous on either side.  It's best to set up some form of security, possibly in the form of additional personnel to assure your safety and compliance to any agreed upon limits or situations where health and safety are compromised.

I advertise my services on this and other sites, ask questions of new clients before meeting and have some form of back up.
I enjoy my work and mix business with pleasure and besides, it pays the rent.
I work out of hotels, rented dungeons and, with regular clients, my own converted dungeon.
Yes, it can be dangerous. You need to put a hell of a lot of trust in people you know very little about as, theoretically, once in bondage, a scene can go anywhere. With someone you dont know theres never any guarrantee that your safeword will be adhered to.

Professional dominants and professional submissives get paid for doing negotiated BDSM activities. You might look at other forms of private sex work--escorting, especially--for examples of how transactions might work, and some of the dangers and attractions. What's the enticement? As LA said, like any other job: You like the work, you think you're reasonably good at it, you think that the risks and unpleasant bits of the work are fewer and less significant than the benefits, and you believe you have sufficient business sense to turn it into a lucrative occupation.

From a September 2003 issue of Control Tower, a column written by a professional dominant:

"There are some [professional submissives.] But there's a greater risk in dealing with dominant clients, because they may be well-meaning but dangerously unskilled, or they may prove unwilling to respect limits and safewords once the scene has started. Pro subs will frequently work in places like L.A. or New York, where a number of women will work together in a pro-dom "house." A coworker can then supervise the pro-sub scenes. There are pro subs who work alone, but it's uncommon."

A later issue of the column took on the question of professional dominants: http://www.thestranger.com/seattle/Content?oid=17063 and the author addressed the problem on her blog, as well: http://mistressmatisse.blogspot.com/2005/10/so-you-want-to-be-pro-domme-i-got.html

I sell stuff to pro-dommes and one of the boards I hang out on caters to sex workers and their clients.

pro-dommes do little if any sex
being a pro-bottom alone is very risky, doing it as part of pro-domme house is pretty low risk.

I would have little worry about a woman simply hanging out a shingle and being a pro-domme but as a pro-sub it is a vastly different ballgame.

That said, it can be quite lucrative and be a way to financial security if someone's head is screwed on tight.  Frankly, if there was any demand for straight male dominants I would be a pro-domme in a heartbeat.
