I've never made a fetish out of material that isn't skin, but I do find it interesting how "latex" and "rubber" fetishes take root in the mind. It's curious to me.

i'm with luckyalbatross on this one. it's only really started with my boyfriend but since then i have really got into it alot more. i recently got a rubber catsuit which is incredible to wear, although a bit hot which makes it even better. I also enjoy plastic wrap on my boyfriend and there is nothing better than watching him in it. would love to try liquid latex.

Unfortunately I dont much like the feeling of latex and most rubber. I don't know much about plastic, havn't had much experience with it although clothing quality PVC looks absolutely fantastic. I do however love the look of wet latex, and I know you can get some wonderful animal-type suits made of latex (seen some that are incredibly sexy, and there is a lot of art out there with such suits), possibly PVC (although I've seen none).

I do however, love the feel of my rubber flogger, and although I didn't much care for the smell upon getting it, I now can't have enough of it. Yet, I think this has more to do with the fact I love flogging, and is most likely, unrelated to what the implement is made out of. Can't wait to make some out of neoprene.

No latex for moi, please...

My girl janey is, literally, deathly allergic to latex. If she inhales the dust from latex gloves it's a race to the hospital because she will go into anaphylactic (sp?) shock. If I handle a latex item, then brush my hand on her skin before I wash my hands, she'll get hives.

Tis a pity though, as latex fashions can be quite... hot!

Leather, Pleather and PVC will have to do. Neoprene is doable (she used to scuba dice and had a wetsuit) so toys and outfits made of that might work... Hmmmmm... *grins* And we already know that pallet wrap works just fine for mummification.

I didn't know that there was so much more to
The Bdsm lifestyle then Plastic or Rubber![:)]

It is a sad though that people are Allergic to
Leather, or Latex. Even plastic.[&:]
