Not your weekend biker type. I am a life long true biker and live the biker lifestyle every day. I ride in the sun, rain, dark of night and live in the fast lane. My question; what holds you back from having the most arousing experience of you life.

onestandingstill -> RE: Bike week is almost here (2/28/2007 6:27:00 AM)

My fear of being used, being taken advantage of, being taken for granted, and being fully vulnerable in the past to people who once inside my heart and life perverted my gift and emotionally damaged me to the point I don't know how to trust or have a healthy fulfilling relationship.
So in a nutshell my baggage and my psychosis.

I have lived out my deepest desires to date.  I am an ever evolving person so that doesn't mean I won't have more that..who knows I may not want to live out for whatever reason.
So, when is Sturgis this year?

HA! I'll bet your bike has and engine on it, and engines are just for pussies who are too lazy to pedal their bikes.

Hello, Biker. =)

Well, I have these two little critters that my owner and I devote most of our time and resources towards. But your lifestyle sounds fun.. maybe someday. =)

Cheers,
Stella

Nothing holds me back my Master does it every time.  I don't have the emotional scars some do so i guess why that is eaiser for me to achieve.

Have fun at bike week.

I'm afraid I'm not really considering the question, but the thread name caught my eye.

It saddens me to realize that as I have no interest in 'that' lifestyle that I really ought not be fit for many of the people in 'this' lifestyle.

Although I must say I dropped a bike off at Bruce's big Harley store just north of Daytona right before Christmas, so I've seen the glory and wonderment of it all.  <Yawn>

Money and training.

While I don't think I would become a "biker" or deeply involved in the culture, I can easily see why one would and definitely would love to have a nice one just outside to enjoy anytime I wanted.

Well, if you live the biker lifestyle every day, then every week is bike week, isn't it? [:-]

porthuronsub -> RE: Bike week is almost here (2/28/2007 4:34:56 PM)

I sold my bike just before winter, I am already missing it.  Last year I rode all winter, as long as the roads were dry w/o salt on them.  I am planning to get another when I complete school.

and happypervert,  you couldn't handle something with that much power between your legs!  don't forget to take your training wheels off.

Quivver -> RE: Bike week is almost here (2/28/2007 5:17:48 PM)

Only things that holds me back in money.
I know that money is only a tool, but you sure cant build a thing without the right tools!!
