So, while i was doing my dishes, i got to thinking, (is there really anything else to do when your dishwashing?), but, i was thinking about how much i've changed the *pattern* i guess you could say, of how my household is ran since we've parted ways about a year ago....
For the most part, i run things as though he were still here.... the way bills are paid, household duties that get done on whatever day.... ect. Now, being that i have children, i believed that this would cause the least amount of stress on them, but i can think of a *few* things that i do my own way, for example, i would wash all the hard floors every day, kitchen, dining room, bathroom... he hated steping on anything remotly crunchy, now i wash them weekly, Fridays to be exact....and some other small things, like i do the dishes before bed instead of directly after dinner... things of that nature...
i guess what i'm getting at here, is how much should i retain?
Does keeping these patterns perhaps pose problems if and when a new Dom comes into my life?
That, and to hopefully find out i'm not the only one who thinks these things :)

Keep what you want. Let go of what you don't want. Just as you have. There are no rule books.
A new Dom is going to want you to do things the way he wants. In my experience as long as the house is clean, most doms I have spoken to over the year's can care less how it gets clean. There are the few out there who want the toilet paper supply in a certain place. Those seem to be far and few in between.
Life is eternal change, yet we adapt and move on as well. I would'nt stress about anything until the time comes.

Hi: I have been through this, but under different circumstances. I'd advise you to keep what you want, do what you're comfortable with, and take life one day at a time! All that should matter to you now is your happiness.
