GreyStorm -> Is pain-slutishness a word? (3/24/2005 9:00:19 PM)
If not, how do we get it submitted for Websters?
Me likey that word.

Heh. Well....it -sounded- good, didn't it?
(I'm assuming you -are- refering to the "are you a pain slut" thread/ad thing)

pain-slutishness eh? Ooh I like that! That's going up there on my list of favorite words that aren't actually words. Right up there with Grood (great and good... if you get why that's funny I applaud you!) and afternoonable (as in free to do stuff in the afternoon). But now, my overwhelming pain-slutishness is telling me to go and find that bottle of rubbing alcohol and have some fun.... ciao!

Yep, that is what I was referring to...that word made me smile. Thanks.

You would be surprised at how many modern slang words make it to Websters. If "pain slut" caught on in mainstream America, it would be submitted to Websters. You could always email them and plead the case for submission.[:)]
fencerpet: I really like "afternoonable". I also use "noonish" for around noon or "fiveish" for around five. I can't stand to commit to an exact time.[:o]
