There is a bizarre double standard online that a "real" Master must be a virile, ever-ready sexual magician able to keep a whole stable of femsubs breathlessly satisfied........but a "real" Mistress would never stoop to having sexual intercourse with a male submissive or....egads....a slave. Us Mistresses have to enjoy celibacy (unless we want to bat for the other team.......that's OK then!)

Both stereotypes are just ludicrous. Every human being's sexuality is unique, and so are their requirements as a Dominant. You need to ask the individual what floats their boat

Hi there ann.

There are a lot of stereotypes in regards to dominant men and women. There are stereotypes of the differences between a 'Dom' and a 'Master' (and slaves verses submissives, and everyone verses switches, etc.) The only statement true 100% of the time, is that the stereotypes are misleading.

'Cruelty' can be expressed in many ways. Some people are emotional sadists, other's physical sadists, and some people are just plain unpleasant. The motivations for that 'cruelty' are important. I am a sadist, in the context that I enjoy mixing physical pleasure and pain. I enjoy practicing objectification and humiliation on a girl as well. On the other hand, I value the emotional elements of my relationship far more than the activity elements. It simply isn't as enjoyable for me to spank or whip a girl who I care nothing about.

The focus of your question won't really be answered by gender; men and women are driven by essentially similar feelings and desires. How those feelings and desires are expressed can be confusing, to say the least. If you are bisexual, it's a good bed your own reaction as a submissive or slave will likely be triggered more by how you respond to a particular person, and less by their plumbing.

Um, seriously they come in all types. Cruelty, love, compassion, caring. Most people have all these emotions. It sounds like you need a bit of cruelty, no?

A good Master or Mistress will read what you need and give it to you. In your case maybe you should seek out a Dom/Domme couple and enjoy both.

The real problem then is how to overcome a common preconceived notion of many subs that a Mistress who wants actual intercourse with him is a demeaning vanilla activity. I served a woman who had sex with me when she desired. What was interesting is that outsiders somehow made this connection that each time she decided to have sex with me, even if it was me tied down and her doing whatever she desired, it somehow made her subservient to me. No matter how many explanations of how this was not the case, people just couldn't see it any other way.

This girl is not a Mistress, and is very much a sub, but would like to add her 2 cents to what pantysniffer has posted. i am a divorced woman who's husband cheated, but am i angry??? Nope, i was able to find a wonderful Dom...best thing my husband ever did for me was to leave me!!! Most women find out after the husband leaves that they are better off. i do have to agree with one thing you said...i could use a few slaps on the ass to set me straight!!!!
