The LinkTV website selects 2 tunes per week that you can download FOR FREE!. You can find them by clicking the "free single" link on this page here.
I've got a slow connection so haven't tried it yet, but it looks like you'll have to register and they even want a credit card # in case you decide to buy stuff. So if you're not comfortable with that, then don't waste your time.
Also, if you have DirectTv or another service that carries LinkTV, you might want to check out the video show they have. I far prefer watching Lebanese salsa, Turkish rap, Romanian new wave and the variety of other music from around the world they have to anything that's on MTV these days. It was during one of those shows that I saw the ad for these downloads.
