This seems to be a good community site, so i was wondering if there's a place where people can post things like poetry or stories or something? Maybe i'm just blind and not finding it. i'm still learning my way around this place. i'd just like to be able to read things written by like-minded people with topics of D/s. Maybe even post some of my own. i found the forums, but i don't see blogs or articles or anything of that sort.

If they don't, why not?! Could be fun!

Answer to your question: alot of us who come here we use the journal entries under our profile to blog and put up our own writings, be it erotica or poems we have made through our own artistic mind. Be it this is my only post here and possibly rare to even reply to the forums i will continue being labeled as vanilla.lol which really doesnt matter to me cause label is a label :)
Know this also some of us who use the journal entries, may also post hints to make further conversation with those who have enquiring minds.. so perhaps if you blog elsewhere you can show them your way..(just a helpful hinter).minxy

At one time I believe there was a creative writing board here.  Seems to have disappeared and I have no idea how long ago.
I never viewed it.  However, why not just post it.
Just an idea...for those of us not into stories...maybe put the fact it is a story in the title?

you just have to face the facts our journal is there for us.. a  journal.. something we blog in because we can, we blog for our own release.. Be it its for public ridicule..but who cares. muster up your self esteem and think im going to  do this no matter what.. its like giving a part of yourself through lets say your clothes.. who cares you are wearing it for yourself ..making a statement.
So if you get chewed out as you say.. you can either ignore the comment, or make  it funny to where its a slap in their face.plus..who knows i bet you get positive emails than you would negative emails, and the good will outweigh the bad..Just think how good it will make you feel..or perhaps like i said blog it elsewhere and just choose certain people to see it :)

She can talk about whatever she likes as long as she does not name other CM users.

I have posted my poetry in journals on other boards .. unless there is a dedicated thread for creative writing, that method works the best.

Good luck with your work.

Thank you juliaoceania. I just wanted to say i wasnt trying to point out that she was going to slam anyone the original question is where can she put her expressions of herself. i was just answering it.. letting her know that non-slamming journal entries were accepted but also letting her know that since it is public..people like putting their own 2 cents in when they might email her giving her negativity.. just something you deal in ,,in general when you come to sites.

I have used my journal quite often, and it always gives this little message before you submit it "do not talk about other users by name", I do not think it matters if it is positive or negative either. I have mentioned emails I have received, but I deleted those entries.

Journal is all well and good, but it's not going to help me when it comes to reading others stuff. i have to go through each and every profile individually and view through all their journal entires to find something? Sounds more frustrating than productive. And it's not guaranteed that anyone is going to actually find what i post in there anyway.

Someone mentioned they posted on other boards... is there a place spefiically for this kind of stuff? i don't want to have to waste so much time searching when all i want is to read others poetry and writing that pertains to BDSM and D/s.

Probably off-topic discussion.

There are definately boards that are just for stories and poetry. Do a google search and you should find what you are looking for.

Start a poetry post in Off Topic Discussion and try to get other people inspired to share their poetry.

I go to the site www.literotica.com and it has many erotic stories that are divided into groups and it has a whole section devoted to BDSM and it has a poetry section never did look in there but It might be a worthwhile place to go. And it even has chat rooms that are sexually based and some devoted to the lifestyle.
