A baby name book *s*    works great  is inexspencive and has the definitions of names (at least the better books do) in it.

names are very powerful and should have meaning,   My name is croation it translated to morning star,,, which has double meaning *w*  The morning star is the brightest and first star in the sky, a light that can help those lost find their way and  Morning Star is also the other name for Lucifer before he fell from grace...     *G*
In some relationships  the names are chosen for them by their Master/Dom-pick the term and it is part of a collaring ceremony or the precurser to a collaring or just  a special gift of a name.

The nickname i am called by the One who owns me is not an endearment. It grated on me for the first few months He used it, but over time i came to like being what that name insinuates. It has lost it's ability to humiliate me... and after that, i doubt anything anyone else could call me would humilate me either.

It was great fun reading the card Master got for me with chocolates from Godiva last month... He was pouting because they refused to print the whole name. i still crack up imagining Him asking them to... live and in person!

My point is that sometimes a name you do not like has a gift for you in a way you would never expect.

i have noticed on a few sites that a lot of names end to be geard towards females, though im guessing theres no reason to use them if it means something to myself and Mistress?
