u know that is a very true observation. cats r the least submissive animal i can think of. they can be seductive indeed but cats do not do what they r told. they aren't even rebellious, they just do their thang

but to the OP i would also mention that getting some meow mix might inspire her

as an aspiring kitty i find this all very helpful, and its giving me some wicked ideas, i find i play as  a puppy would, fallow commands, and other such stuff as a kitty, i just dont identify with a puppy at all, but i enjoy playing fetch. watchign cats also seems liek a good idea, ive not seen it yet, so i will be sure to tell master. to the op, just let er be herself and her true kitty will shine, lots of pettings and brushing usually helps.

We had a cat that would play fetch all day with a rabbits foot.

As the reluctant owner of 3 cats, all i can say is none of the damn things are submissive.  I feed them, clean up their crap, buy them toys so they won't scratch up the furniture but then do anyways, and maybe, just maybe they'll let you pet (massage) them.

Remember, dogs have masters, cats have servants.  [;)]
LOL...oh sooo true!! cats are definitely Dominants of the animal world..:0)...Tempting

Good Afternoon,

My Name is Master Wulf, I am in need of Advice, My sub wants to be a cat, and I don't have a clue as to how to find information about being a Cat. We both are very animalist, but W\we have decided that this is what she really needs and wants to be. My sub is also my wife.. any advice is welcome..

Master Wulf

A few years ago, when the kids still lived at home, W/we did really special things when they went away for summer break or for Christmas break and for the one Christmas break, I was Masters kittykat.  He went to Petsmart and bought a kitty bed (actually a doggy bed large enough for me to curl up in) and some kitty bowls and a kitty collar.  He also went to a lingerie store and bought me a little leopard print teddy to wear and a butt plug that included a tail.  For 2 weeks I crawled on the floor, ate and drank from my bowls, met Him at the door when He came home,  puurrrrred and meowed and rubbed against Master and W/we both enjoyed it alot. Good luck to Y/you and have fun [;)]

Cordially,
minxy [:)]

I believe I worded My first post incorrectly,  My sub \ wife, is extremely catlike, W\we are having a problem, trying to get her being a cat into playtime & general life,
she acts like a cat in as many ways, she walks, purrs, claws, and bites like a cat, but we want to take it farther. Her deepest wish is to take it beyond the simple actions of her catiness, and fully extend it into O\our world.

Dogs look at people and say,  "They feed me, They play with me and They pet me, They must be Master, Cats look at people and say, they feed Me, they play with Me and they pet Me, I must be a Master.

She is finding something in not being a person that she finds in being a cat...More than likely part of it is wrapped up around the unconditional love we give animals and how we don't put expectations on a cat.

Absolutely. It’s freeing to be a cat.

I feel innately feline, and while my kitty persona isn’t tied to any particular moods or emotions, there can be a strong defense mechanism aspect to it. I sometimes delve into catmode when I want to chuck my human anxiety, or if I sense I can’t adequately express what I’m feeling or fearing in traditionally human ways. Sometimes it’s an attempt to regain a sense of safety or comfort or simplicity. Other times I’m just trying to connect, and mewing while I rub my face against someone’s knees is a helluva lot easier than verbalizing a broad and confounding need for attention or understanding. Human me fears rejection and judgement, and so the cat often “speaks” what I can’t or don’t know how to communicate with words.

My ex-husband was sometimes impatient with the cat, which usually made already difficult situations worse. He thought I was being nonsensical, when in reality, I was being painfully honest. Ouch!

Tell her to find her feline forces inside and do what comes naturally from the inside out.

This makes sense to me. If the kittiness is innate, it’ll run its own glorious, catnip-strewn course. :) And if you know when/why the cat comes out, you can learn how to draw her out better.

I was going to forward this post to someone special I know as I found it very insightful and honest, seems I need not do so.

Declawing is probably not a good idea in this case.

What else, aside from simple actions, are you looking to extend into your world?  Maybe I dont understand fully, but beyond your actions, what else is there to transition to being a cat, or any other role you move into?
Angel is my baby, it is what we are tying to transition into our world. Simple actions are al we have, be it the action of dressing a certain way, feeding a certain way or behaving a certain way. The mental space is where the important part lies. Being able to think and feel as your role suggests is dificult, since it is not always feasible outside of the home. I would never expect him to cry for my attention when we were out in public, though I am sure the idea has occured to him.
What is lacking, that you are looking for a more full integration?
