I have a male sub whom I would like to collar discreetly durring the day. He has  professional job and I don't feel the need to cause him problems there yet.

Any Suggestions?

I would suggest youi both go shopping--buy a collar that means something to both of you--could be a very plain chain that he could wear at work or at play with you--and no one the wiser

Why does it need to be a "collar?"  Why not a watch or something in that line?

I make a lot of custom collars for men and woman.  In my experience some use a wrist band, an anklet, not to mention many different choices for public collars that don't raise attention.  I longer small linked chain could fit nicely under a work shirt and not be seen at all by the vanilla public.  There are chain mail collars that are pretty casual in appearance, but those are maybe not so good for the business world.  Personally I would recommend a longer linked chain type man's necklace that can be hidden under his clothing.

A braided leather collar/necklace would be common for any male to wear and only the two of Yyou would know the signifigance.

It doesn't have to be worn around the neck, It could be anywhere on his body.

My husband wears his collar 24/7/365. It is from http://www.bondagecollars.com/collar.htm and we highly recommend it. The first two show his collar in daily wear situations. The third photo was taken to show his collar and first cuff together. (His "formal" collar will be when he has earned both the collar and all four cuffs.) The last two just show the cuff up close while not worn and the clasp of the collar. The collar looks like jewelry because it IS jewelry. It is made from chain you choose http://www.firescale.com/silver-chains.pdf (we went for the regular curb chain and, as I mentioned above, the more decorative snake eye screws) and the special clasp made by the seller. The rings attaching the clasp are welded shut, so removing the collar without the tool means breaking it.

And yes, a couple of people have commented upon the clasp. He has been instructed to tell people that it is either a special clasp so he doesn't lose it or that it was a gift from me and a symbol of love. It is up to him which to offer to whom. But with him wearing the collar for two years and his first cuff for one, only two people have noticed the clasps are unusual.

If he works in an office I'm assuming he wears pants (but hey, I remember the dot com days, sheesh).  Get him a locking anklet.  I've always thought that an anklet/ankle cuff as some pretty strong imagery (think ball and chain, chain gangs, etc).  Completely hidden beneath socks and pants, can be permanently locked, etc.

I have occassionally used discrete chastity devices like the CB 3000.  It reminds my submissive of who holds his collar while providing fun for me while he's not with me

The more i think of it, it is an intersting question. I have made some wierd toys over years, and used a few. for non visible things , there is like a cb. cock rings can be taken off at will.
An off the wall idea , would be a mix of both. Like a locking larger ring for which the whole sack and all can fit through, and a smaller ring, to go over the shaft and lock to the rear one. Sort of like a Cb device but can't be removed easily.

I know there are things like gates of hell etc. with leather locking straps... etc. But something simple and light weight.. would be more easily worn and hidden under clothes.. ( heads to the toy room to try and make one out of copper, so a tens can be hooked to it)

an anklet is always a possibility, but there are silver collars that can easily be mistaken for a chocker style necklace by the vanillas

That is exactly what hubby's collar looks like. To the world, it is a sterling silver necklace. The only hint that there is something different about it is the special tamper resistant screw down clasp, and even that is not overly noticeable.

I agree that daily wear "cuffs" can have a large psychological impact.  My husband is under a training collar and was given a tamper resistant necklace.  Each year on our collaring anniversary, he earns one of his "cuffs," tamper resistant bracelets and anklets. When we are done, as his "formal collar" he will wear his tamper resistant collar and four cuffs 24/7/365. (This year is his second wrist cuff.)

In the past, I have used cat-collars (with the bell) as anklets for my slaves.  Its discrete (and you can't hear the bell through their socks/stockings) and just confining enough the remind the slave who owns them :)

oh i should have also said that I live in arizona, so I wear shorts nearly year round so the anklet is more visable

But anyways, have Your sub get a prince albert piercing and then once it's healed just lock a normal master lock through the piercing. There's no way to get it off without cutting it off and, he can't be unfaithful to You, no woman would have sex with a man that has a lock going through his penis right? And that fact alone will keep him devoted to You.

except the O.P. didn't say her sub is hers exclusively - not all Dommes and subs have exclusive relationships. my Owner sleeps with whomever She chooses and, with Her prior and express permission, lets me do the same. She demands that She be my primary, but does not demand that She be my only, lover.

that said, it is a lovely idea for those who do want to keep their male subs to themselves. i have a P.A. and have done this before (to myself), but have since completely forgotten it's an option. thanks for the reminder (six years old though it may be. ;)

I've head rings work great for male sub during the day. Personally I love my Story of O ring with the engraving; it's simple, comfortable and for the most part totally discreet.
