Ladies, today, March 3, 2007 (March 4th, in some far eastern parts of the world), is a total lunar eclipse of the full moon. For those with a spiritual, tantric, magic, or lunar practice, today's the day! During the hours of the eclipse is a particularly potent time. Here are the hours, in Universal Time, i.e., Greenwich Mean Time: d h m Moon enters penumbra March 03 20 16.4 Moon enters umbra 03 21 30.0 Moon enters totality 03 22 43.8 Middle of eclipse 03 23 20.9 UT Moon leaves totality 03 23 58.0 Moon leaves umbra 04 01 11.7 Moon leaves penumbra 04 02 25.4 In terms of Pacific Standard Time, you would -8 hours from these times, so that, for example, the midpoint of the eclipse would be 3:20pm, Saturday, March 3rd. In the U.S., only the eastern states will be able to see some of the eclipse in the sky, according to what I've read. But the effect will be everywhere. For more information about the exact hours, and where, on earth, the eclipse will be visible - turning the moon a deep, beautiful, blood red, a-la-la - here are some helpful links: http://science.nasa.gov/headlines/y2007/images/lunareclipse/LE2007Mar03-Fig1.GIF http://aa.usno.navy.mil/data/docs/eclipse/le107.html And if you're interested in Hindu practice, http://www.hinduism.co.za/eclipse.htm - look for the article about lunar eclipses, below, on that page. (You'll notice, on that last page, the dates of a partial solar eclipse, this month and another total lunar eclipse, this coming August, too.) All blessings, to you and yours! In love and in all!
