I wonder how much jealousy there would be if I called my rectal sphincter Jesus, or Mohammed, Moses or Krishna?
Not much I imagine, as the millions who honour those names would be too pissed at me to be jealous, and I'd likely have too many fatwahs and so on against me, to have to time to talk about it.
Still, if youre going to name anything after Thor, then you picked the right area. Its not for nothing that the ceremonial representation of Thor's Hammer is used to bless marriages.
But, if its intended to be a reference, slighting or not, to a "white man's God" as was written, then its way off. Asatru has moved on, at least in the UK circles I mix in, from all that racist nonsense; after all, our Gods are not bound by geographical boundaries and are the Germanic expressions of the same universal religion found everywhere and in all peoples regardless of ethnicity.
How Thor would feel about it is another matter though. Knowing him, he might smash you to pieces for the slight, or laugh at the use of his name for something incomparably feeble by comparison to the real thing.
