Wow, that was mean. Wish I had more time to read the boards so I could figure out who can't stand whom, and why. Well, maybe I don't wish I did. There's enough drama where I work.

I will believe if you read the boards more you will find that is Ron's humor and was not intended mean at all.

I share the bed with master. My female slave normally sleeps on the other side of me. (Emerald sandwich!) Males normally sleep with a pillow and blanket at the foot of the bed.

WELL this topic was bought up at a party we attended lately, so many different answers as in here...OURS have a dorm type room and one sleeps at the foot of our bed.end topic.since its so silly here smile.bounty

I would sleep in our bed no matter what the relationship, because it's not negotiable and I'd pick only others with the same mind set as me on this.

My sub sleeps with me when we are together but he has to wear his wrist restraints in case in the middle of the middle night I get the urge to tie him up.

But if he snores too much, I banish him to the couch. I can't sleep with him snoring like a grizzly bear with its foot caught in a trap.

He has respected my very hard relationships limits as they are part of his D/s relationship core values ... so I will have to say I already know.

hyjacking this thread on PURPOSE... It has ALWAYS been a concern of mine, even when I was new on these boards back in 2003 (yes several profiles names ago) that new comers have not the f**ing clue to nuances in communications, internet frienships, OR the way one communicates and we must be very careful NOT to alienate them or think they are being devalued or demeaned for NOT the hell knowing. Simply, a kind and careful word of advice or instructionon the other side, perhaps helps a newcomer with this sort of thing.

NOW a DISCLAIMER is needed... I am NOT attacking OR judging you KC for your response. It is just so appropriately placed here. Disclaimer: IMOHFO.

Sometimes, it's not only something that a slave craves and desires, but it's something that she needs. If i can't sleep in the arms of my beloved Master, i can't sleep well. Tossing and turning leads to a very groggy and disfunctional slave the next day.

And as someone else said, Master feels the same way... Why would he punish himself, even if i needed some repremanding myself? There are others ways.

After going over handouts from the slave training workshop series I've been taking, my Daddy and I traded responses. His comment on sleeping arrangement was "BEDWARMER!!!!!" He claims to have trouble sleeping if I'm not in the bed with him.

Given my hip problems (one of my legs is longer than the other, which seems to have something to do with it), I'd have to agree with this. I'd need to sleep on a bed in a dark room, with or without my dominant. Without my dominant would feel weird, but not sleeping on at least a raised futon would be a hard limit for me.
