clapping in delight my eggie experiment worked, to some degree I took raw eggs colored something in normal color wax, then painted over it with a thoughly washed greese brush, pokes a hole an blew out the guts. Blowing took an awfull lot of hard work but once you got it started an twards end it wizzed out of the egg easily. The eggs condense when cold so let it warm up totaly other wise color you color tends to wipe off. And I have noticed color does not stay to well on eggs not boiled. All in all a very wonderfull first time eggsperiment.

here's an experiment to try to replace the "blowing the guts out" part.

Get a milk bottle or whatever where the opening is smaller than the diameter of the egg
have your egg ready with a hole on one end (or maybe better with a hole on each end)
get a little piece of paper, light it and drop it in
put your egg over the bottle opening, effectively sealing it

the burning paper will consume the oxygen and cause a vacuum and then suck the guts out. Or maybe it is the paper heats the air, and the vacuum is formed when the air in the bottle cools. It's something like that; I just remember it works.

I haven't tried exactly this, but done something similar. When I was a kid I saw on Mr Wizard or somewhere how to put an egg in a milk bottle. First, soak the egg in vinegar -- that would cause the shell to soften. Then we did the lit paper part, and the whole egg got sucked into the bottle -- I think it even bounced when it hit bottom. Then after the egg sat around a while the vinegar evaporated and the shell hardened up again.

It's much easier to use an egg blower.
